When it is going to a "buyer".. (and or if not stated in the listing)... you may have the "where is it at?" Feeling more than on it's way to CGC due to deadlines. It might ease the pressure, if I'm understanding. You're not the first to feel that way, but would be the most ideal short of hand delivery 🙏 At least you know what to expect having done it once!

It's worth mentioning that I own an arcade that has a stryder game, so it has appeal. There is something to having knowledge to know what it is your looking for, and you've got the games bug. I'm barely hanging with Nintendo Power Comics and some Pokémon cards. There is a lot to learn! Cheers! I really need to visit the other parts of the boards with the VHS and or cards and or games, ahem, more often!

That thing had typical bends and spine wear for 4.5, I was giving it the benefit of the doubt with that missing corner! Turns out it was the only one I "UNDERGRADED!".

I agree! Moving to the next round, I always start off thankful for there being 5 books a round, as that is different than older contests. ( I think) but it can move a score both ways pretty fast, towards the end and winners chosen even.

It does make it easier to be honest about what we put down, that I'm not a "wild and crazy guy!" Quick glances for me and a Method to the madness is a comfort. I used to think I could dial it in from there but I've been down that road as well. There have been genuine. books I've tried to be more proficient on, but the gut just as reliable or I'd like it better that way. Even in LCS's that's the example you get when they look a book over. I admire the pluck , I've tried this too, people who can go into spare a grade and describe their estimate and etc. Bit of promotion to that part of the forums! These are to me more fun when we get the grades back after 4 days, but the favor happens here too

What I imagine, knowing nothing but limited printing stuff from late eighties early 90s when I'd visit my parents work where my mom did this, is the maroon from the cover and below the price box ran over somehow on the rollers. Or some kind of transfer of such.

It's really an odd thing to notice like a centimeter or less line that is a darker impression, probably due to the maroon type cover imo, but I'll try to point it out better. Otherwise I don't want to think this hard haha - I see noting hogan's heroes!

Or as mentioned whatever is on the first page? I also wonder what page quality these slabs or raws have. Hiding behind the cover. Idk. But some covers are more 'see through" than others as well.

Neither can I. Best I could tell it looked like some tanning in the teal color by Spidey right leg. What he may call spots, could be considered splotches of what looks to be brown or darker teal, like tanning or dirt from handling. Like from handling with dirty hands, which may be a typical place to hold the comic. @Timed I didn't really "see it either" , but what I mentioned is kind of there on most the copies you posted and or circled? It's a stretch, but I know cgc ignores manufacturing stuff most of the time, and I would say a consensus is, the way it was printed and whether bleed through from front page and etc. Could be why you see it on most or what not.
