  1. That's a lot of fun, I'd appreciate it " more" if I was local, but glad you found the time and the weather was nice! Hope the enjoyment of company and immersing in the tmnt brought joy to all! wish I'd have been there for sure
  2. idk what to say yesterday, but I'm sure transition or change gets easier over time. Glad that there is still an underlying appreciation that I'm hoping works to everyone's benefit down the road, but it can't be easy at the moment Each day is new and full of new mercies from above @trademarkcomics It took me until today when casually browsing to "plan purchases" that you meant, you were "listing on ebay" rather than the boards! Good to know, and although I'm looking, I figured to clarify to get eyes on it! If that helps
  3. No worries then. Streaming may have somewhat leveled the playing field as to what is available in other media over seas. If you can catch up on the Static character in the cartoon or other, there is a lot to like, but as of recently the only moving value being movie speculation, idk if it is just low hanging fruit. All in good fun I would think as he doesn't come up in regular conversations for me very often, I could see how you needed to use investigative skills. Even Batman Beyond, which is possibly more attractive in nostalgia, has actually gone down in value recently, so I way over paid. Good for you to do due diligence. Static was fun but a very 90's portrayal.
  4. I was going to push it for the future of that "middle ground", but only because it is probably "where I'm at as well!" I just like to find stuff in the wild, recently got back a "price newsstand edition" in 7.0 I bought it raw for $2. I'd just assume to be content not throwing it away, no dog in a fight. Been a bottom feeder in areas for years now!
  5. Actually I misspoke, I could have sworn there were at least two recent slabs of it, but I checked recently in back from CGC in comics general, and tried recents in modern and nothing, guess I could try copper for some feedback Edit Nope nope and nope! It must have been older movie news, but should hit the nostalgia button for many
  6. I thought it was @greggy but i no longer see them, sorry
  7. Glad you were able to get out and stay cool! Been a hot tamale lately, cover reminds me of the SUN the past month It is it's own macabre menace. Anyway looks like a good read, today of all days
  8. @BA773 I still admire your pluck to go after listings of the whole run! That's probably a good economic way for you long distance. That said, Static seems like an affordable one, but I wonder if you would be interested if not already having media attention. Sometimes low hanging fruit is what it is, although I do believe that you'd enjoy reading Static!
  9. That's my recollection too as a kid, but riveled the Darkhawks of the world, a little bit more substance. When it spiked in "value", as it was always a pretty good read, I thought that too many would be found in nm shape. Not a bad comic if you owned one, jury still being out on the census I guess.
  10. Lol I totally forgot about that, came on for me near batman beyond time, if memory serves!
  11. Congrats! Tbh my 1st though with the 1st pic? "Ah cool! A tmnt skateboard" Which would be equally awesome, along with guitar! (Nerds!) Haha
  12. I vaguely remember as a kid Static being around the time of the death of Superman, which was a time of newer publishers, and those characters tried to be as unique as possible; although, some were weaker ideas than others. From memory but was I think also about 30 years ago for me
  13. Just maybe DON"T start yet another "new thread" That is kind of like spam, but left to interpretation due to zeal, but keep it simple and maybe explore the "journal" part of the forums.
