  1. Especially when one was a cliffhanger to survival, but then all the newsstands were fairly empty, or at least AFAIK as kid to the grocery store. By the time the issues showed up again Magneto had his mind wiped and was a vegetable, talk about
  2. You're right on the wolverine. I remember as a kid picking up that and X-Men #25 pretty close apart, and I was thinking the covers didn't represent the end story inside to my liking. I was staring at the cover going which is parts one Edit to say both were on the stands, but idk how to look up the indicia as a kid haha
  3. Saw this meme today and thought of you! Glad you've got more in the pipeline, always fun to hear!
  4. I was looking at the Batman #24 today, as I own a copy, it doesn't often sell it seems. I blame the variants but idk. I think it's cool. Lcs tried to have a party to celebrate the issue, complete with cupcakes and cake ball stuff, it was fun just to see them celebrate the story! Good Times. Congrats.
  5. Lol Google will do, so no, can't really believe that I asked it , other than being hopeful haha.
  6. Is the mic on it functional? Or is there no mic and is a radio only earphone?
  7. A lot of mad magazines can be found near me, if I just want to read an under $5 book. I mean older than 1980 as well. None of them are favorites, but I enjoy the title. So pick one for #1) #2) Spawn #1 or #3 ) Spawn #9 plenty of them out there
  8. @Robot Man might be a cheat sheet for these That's nice that they filled it up, i wonder if they stopped cause it was full I do the same with mag slabs It's got nostalgia written all over it though
  9. Lol I knew that, but doesn't look like it was ever built for functionality, which made me think some kind of head dress or outfit. It was a guess let's be honest
  10. Looks like the arm band that is usually on Luke right arm, but idk enough about it, or part of the sw flight outfit
  11. Piggy backing off posts, none of them are my favorites , but most New X-Men "keys" can be had for under $5 in the bins. That might be a nice thread to start "worthy books < $$ to pick up", but that mostly has to do with bin diving that is attracted to or hinted at in the "adventures in the dollar bin" thread in the modern section. So I'm rambling, but to the point, good "garage sale antique" thread in comics general is a good place to start. Doesn't always have to be silver age given away
  12. Wait he's "selling" "what you have?" do you mean he just swiped the pics?
  13. are you calling the correct number? it has recently changed to a 800 number or some such
  14. This is what I was thinking is ok, especially for the registry pics. The only reason I'd think they are copyrighting it, is due to someone mentioning a disclaimer for tamper cases and wanting proof of product. They then don't want their "proof" tampered with . As far as copyright goes, I'm not sure if it's is allowed, a screenshot crop, I mean just for pics for the registry? Surely that's not frowned upon?
  15. I also wonder if it has to be your own books to lift the scans "freely". #thenewgradersnotes 😀 😂
  16. If you already sent in a 9.8 for robs sig then leave the Stan and label alone. As mentioned you wouldn't ever get that one back, and you've sweated enough on the 9.8 remaining 9.8. I admire the pluck!
  17. I believe it was right click or hold down, however you do it to open a "new tab" , with the picture only, then somehow that new tab being downloaded. Idk if it's easier, but maybe screenshot and cropping is less scientific but would work, kind of takes the fun out of it
  18. Yes, definitely Buck Rogers on the figures. I don't recognize those pieces as belonging to the line, though, unless they came off of a vehicle. Kinda look Micronauts-ish to me? Could be totally wrong about that. I'm just glad I recognized them too. I barely know that much of Buck, except reruns and the cartoon reference They've had pawn star mentions, including some on comic book men, but it is usually the, ahem, doll or cloth specifically...
