  1. Glad to be a part of it, was fun to try and discern! Thanks again!
  2. Lol good topic @MultiSig Mike Now for my feeble attempt. I have never watched a creator artist sign and then witness for my own cgc collection, in person. These 2 listed are the first 2 book that 1st day of my 1st major comic con. I submitted and dropped off with a facilitator for the creator of Hulk. Dropped off when I saw the line for in person. 1st major comic con, I had barely heard of cgc, and I didn't want to mess up somehow the witness program. It was too important to me. I'm not just trying to be pedantic, because I've also used in trade the first signature series that I ever bought delivered to my home, in trade partly for an Avengers issue. There are so many 1sts to consider, and I'd agree not to limit it if within scope!
  3. At least it shipped, hope it comes back done well. I'm hoping to see some pics of these sigs eventually I'm curious what books people chose I'd have chose Harley Quinn 1999, but that may be so old hat as I haven't heard it mentioned anywhere in a long time.
  4. I believe it is locked right now, as they're determining awards
  5. Still thanks for letting me know I'm sure it is fine, just been 2 weeks, and it IS Monday It checked in! Thanks for easing my mind with some venting that last 4 hours
  6. Still thanks for letting me know I'm sure it is fine, just been 2 weeks, and it IS Monday
  7. @The Commissioner or @Monster's Lair Comics or anyone else? Has anyone had their books check into CGC from Fan Expo Dallas? I dropped off on Friday June 9th, 1st day of the con, have my receipt email, but it still doesn't show up on my submission page
  8. what you would do: Click on the set Click on "edit set" tab at the top Next to the book you'd want deleted, click the clear column box next to the book you want gone then click save changes button at the bottom or to of screen by scrolling up or down Then it will ask if you want it deleted or removed, select removed delete! hit save Especially if you don't own it etc
  9. Wow I got a bullseye every round, consistency I guess? I think I also almost got a -1 per round so
  10. I get that feeling a lot, when it comes to niches and such, I have to also remember that even CGC is a "niche within the hobby!"
  11. ya one of those "I get it, but I'm dead serious" I get your point though haha, I never thought of them as "key" too much myself, but I own a couple; however, would struggle to "defend" them. I like the death of sabretooth as it is a homage cover with the variant, of a pretty classic cover. I'm not sure what else death I have, I have the ASM you mention, but only in midgrade to "own" copies. I don't really collect any "lady death" for the same reason
  12. How about "first death?" Would that constitute anything?
  13. I guess if it isn't fire proof not a safe, I needn't worry about these issues rust etc?
  14. But I was asking more for rust and water absorption, like the thread was asking. A 300 pound snap on with no wheels sounds viable to me except it's not water fire nor smoke proof? What about rust and all the rest?
  15. I remember the thread in copper, I thought it was all more recent than that. I can too understand if I don't win, some of mine have a fair amount of completion, pics and descriptions, but the grades are consistent it's just what I can afford There comes a time, when run collecting is just as expensive as major books? I know that's right haha
  16. Best wishes to all those considered and keep at it! Bowchinkawowow
