  1. Got to pay you dues if you want to sing the blues, and you know it don't come easy
  2. Lol ya that was the estimate for the mint in box on the pawn star video, was $16,000, so maybe they got their money 😂 But ya I posted the video thinking they may remark on the box only but no they don't. Great find!
  3. @cabinboy It was on pawn stars, but idk if it is searchable @littledoom might know lol, it IS interesting 🤔🧐
  4. I think the only correlation is price, I've often thought this way. Only saving until I can buy in grades I'm interested in, then buying the best book I can think of out of the lot. It is buy what you love material, that sometimes gets confused with quantity over quality 😁
  5. Golden age forum will be glad to see a newcomer. Hang in there! And welcome to the boards
  6. I've checked your registry before, it'll be nice to see them altogether once pics are up from the gallery! Kudos my friend!
  7. All of what your saying is true! I haven't tried to do multiple listings, yet when it first happened to me on an offer, those were my first thoughts!! Which I don't have an answer too, and since I haven't yet ever done a group listing by, at least you're comfortable with asking for those fees back. I guess there would be proof with ebay in the emails enough to get your money back, if you had to go that route? Sounds "difficult", or more that it should be or has been in the past. Let me know how it goes? TBH I don't think that it is anything intended maliciously by the seller, given your reaction? But I've set auto accepting offers before, but haven't listed often more than one thing, but my point is this would be good to know as a seller on my end as well
  8. Is this somehow the writer or otherwise connected as the "Carnage Black and white, 'red?" It does look decent, but I assume you mean for the cover? As the Carnage somehow isn't so much thought of, except maybe for the artist Momoko At any rate, who is the artist on the Vader?
  9. So far, since I posted that it "got better, it only logged me out once within I'm guessing 24-48 hours. And I've been on more than one tab, different devices, different Internet sources, and it only logged me out on one device once from all of the above. Not saying yours isn't worse, but yes, on my end it is "better!".
  10. I might squeeze in under the wire with a prescreen for this one. It certainly looks well off with all the video on this page alone. I didn't click on them to go in with fresh eyes, as ACTION is promised!
  11. Early bday present from my brother Silver age boards that I had silver age bags to go with Plus a Newsstand just because it is an upgrade.
  12. Looks like a phone call is needed. My submission that was marked "Shipped" and I received the "CGC Shipping Summary" email is now back in G/E/I. Strange. I'll call them later on. That happened to me yesterday as well and I posted as much here Today it "does" show "shipped", but was only 9.6 and I feel like: to go from GEI to qc finalized, to qc control and back to GEI, to only have it show as all the way shipped and with no explanation? That's the way mine went. It would seem if "something went wrong" I should know about it, but then again, when I called, they just said sometime the online on my end is whacky MMnnkay!
  13. awesome, maybe I just missed it somehow, thanks for clarification I was like Somehow I missed it To Ron C's point, I think taking up the whole front cover was nice of Hughes, when only paying for a "remarque", but you did understand what "I meant" as Idk it was an option
  14. What you're possibly looking for are cgc mylars, which if you don't get an answer straight away try googling and add the word resealable. That may help you.
  15. I think spidey 1 2099 was there ghost rider glow in the dark, and other things I used to use to draw and practice shading. There wasn't anything I was proud of enough to write my name on Depends on the age of collecting though I guess, but if death of Superman meant anything it was to not crack a book unless you have doubles.
  16. Tbh I didn't know what would happen to my collection upon moving out in early 2000zs but I didn't really have much. When getting back in to collecting I eventually went to check, only confirmed that they weren't much. Anything of note was Campbell gen 13, deadpool circle chase 1, and a Wolverine run including the issue that was being pumped as x23 in a test tube. Idk other than my death of Superman unopened idk that anyone would have wanted it while I was gone
