This Week In Your Plastic Crack, Action Figures and Toy Collection
ADAMANTIUM replied to Buzzetta's topic in Comics General
The Whale is probably my all time favorite. I remember getting it for Xmas, and I spent the next several summers playing with it in the pool. Nothing finer than having it tragically sink to the bottom, as the corpses floated up from the crew hatch. Good times. (I may or may not have had emotional problems -

How rare are modern newsstand editions?
ADAMANTIUM replied to paqart's topic in Modern Age Comic Books
I watched the 13 minutes, some interesting notes. I have found a 35 center star wars #4 from 1977/78 or whatever, and I agree about the hunt with making lists and availability. Seemingly sometimes those are the ones I've sold ie your low grade Star wars clone wars 1 in the $1 bin or X-men vg #266 mark jewelers. Not to get off track with the thread: I just think those are the easiest with catch and release "sometimes", when you can have the thrill of the hunt and complete the conquest by grading, and when ready letting it go.; although, I'm not a grade chaser nor flipper, it can feel that way, but it was more about the score, story, and proof that it CAN happen rather than a keepsake or trophy. Somehow I've found that different, and I have kept my Star wars 35 center, as so far it is still the lowest graded and it makes me smile -

Hasbro's TRANSFORMERS: RISE OF THE BEASTS (2023)
ADAMANTIUM replied to Bosco685's topic in The Movie Forum
Transformers was good. The characters I was asked to keep an eye out for is a theme until the end, and the movie felt a little lack luster to me but stay for credits scenes, two of them and you'll be all good. It was good but I might not see it again, though usually I don't anyway. I would recommend to those who like transformers, just not a "fan favorite" type shebang. Audience did clap and cheer though, prescreen- 178 replies

Where in the world was the Quality Control at CGC???
ADAMANTIUM replied to Wally's Comics's topic in Comics General
I think he means: he subbed for a mike sig, it for labeled a mike sig, but in fact, it didn't actually ever get "signed by Mike!" As the signature is nowhere to be found... -

An article that I didn't click on said that even the screeningsnended differently than each other I'm interested, but not enough to go to another, would rather Lord willing see the Transformers. Given leaks of other movies and these under wraps haha it is interesting.
