  1. More importantly @cgcsketcherz thanks for doing what you've done so far, cause uploading here is fun enough for us, and is appreciated . You do half the stuff on the boards that you would do on the registry, and already take quality pics. Thank you for letting us enjoy!
  2. Here is some help if your asking? If your tec savvy enough to download Microsoft office lense? Basically search your phone for the Google play app, type in Microsoft office lense, hit download, then open and use. It's helpful for after taking a pick, under th bottom of screen options in the app choose document when taking a pic. You can then easily crop the image, save, 2)log in to registry click on the cert number in your sets with books, hit choose file and choose the pic for upload Lol sounds like a lot but you get used to it! You obtain enough, and have enough currently to get in the swing of things, so when you learn it'll be old hat after a while. Or just open the photo on your phone, take the best pic you can and follow number 2
  3. I only meant if need be, I have multiple page pic sets with books, but I try to keep it short and sweet It's a personal choice, there are no wrong ways to do full story descriptions. But to the point that is the 2nd person I've mentioned the main page gallery that wasn't aware .... I get that registry sets are the main attraction, but I have so many with only one or two books, which may hack off management But seriously, I do enjoy the main gallery, because there are onky a few sets with many pages. Idk if that is good or bad? Thoughts to help a fellow out? I try to be uniform and secure in personality or at least my point of view. I want to stay organized, because when adding a new book, not a formula per se, but I can add it with a personal touch, with pertinent information, that isn't copy and paste, but still reads well enough with flair. Or that's the hope, and management can't be too precise in what we do, if ours is to have a personal touch imo. I make it my own, and if a long text gets it all out on paper, it at least can be very therapeutic!
  4. Prayers! Texas had a mild spring, which someone mentioned affects hurricane season. Power though, we need He-man?!? @CGC Mike can and Lord willing will return shortly!
  5. Indeed and it's a mouser cover and 1st April, a continuation story, basically 2nd appearance of Turtles, or any turtle fan would enjoy, but that is just my opinion. Key is a relative term, but it is an important issue for a lot of people I'd personally like a sketch of April O'Neil by an artist, and I played the video games as a kid, story wise it hits the nostalgia button. I can't say why it's a key other than the obvious note, but for me it checks a lot of boxes. The term key gets thrown around, but means to most an important quality or book, I know what it is for me so it's a good question to inquire why I like it. But there can be too many to name, if it were #1 I think hat nothing would stand out more than 1st toitles But beyond that and since it's unattainable as a 1st print, there are th other books
  6. That's an awesome white pager. I hope more additions come with 121! Been a quite a feat working on 100 books?
  7. Well buy what you van afford and are comfortable with, no wrong way to buy what your into. Tmnt #2 1st print in 4,0 or 2nd print is nothing to sneeze at. My advice was a very loose guidelines to narrow for copper age, it all depends on the book. Tmnt 2 if 1st print is key too, no wrong way with big books and in what you are in to. It depends on the person as much as it depends on the book, then the age. Very loose guidelines
  8. Exactly. I think used too, there was higher grades and higher values to them, as in a 9.8 at 1,000 but like 8.0 at $200. I mean that is too much of a gap, or in some cases there were affordable copies that way. These past years basically closed a lot of gaps. Batman 227 in even 9.2 was always a couple of thousand, but 7,5 ran like $400. That just didn't make since, but since the 9s never increased further, then it was stuck, but somehow gaps are being closed, and I hope that stays the same. But that's all "value" Rarity is a different story.it has different factors But I don't mind 7,5 usually in bronze, low 9s in copper, and moderns depending on the vook 9.6 or 9.8
  9. It could depend on the age and the comic, for sure, a 6.5 of asm below number 10 I'd call that Whoa even in 4.0!
  10. Basically one minor flaw is allowed, but ya I don't chase 9.8 either, my registry proves that. In reality, the 9,8s were like $500 last year when I submitted a raw that came back 8.5. My point is I couldn't pass up the upgrade at that price point. But strictly grading, one minor flaw, but not too much difference in the 9's other than they get more noticeable from further away
  11. I meant to say @Yorick That if a persons "sets" are "too descriptive" or it at least takes a lot of scrolling to see the gallery in sets? Then try that persons "main page" and try the gallery from there, you'll see more books anyway you can get there by searching a boardies name in the search bar, and when it takes you to their profile, it is then the main page
  12. Some prescreen fun. They did a gif of me there but I'm not too sure how to share it. Lol
  13. That's what I got. I took it to mean bad things, but maybe he just buys the emojis in bulk?
  14. Looks a presentable copy, way to represent That and X-men #12, which I used to own the latter, are missing spots for me. Nice to see a deserving copy for a deserving boardie.
  15. Ya last I watched was vol 2, been too long between movies, as I didn't watch the Christmas thing. That said I was wondering where it was heading, I laughed when others didn't and vice versa, so idk how I could make it 'better" didn't fall flat though, was although my least favorite. I still think some would enjoy it. It's better than a popcorn movie.
