Are prices still climbing or have they eased up a bit???
ADAMANTIUM replied to InfantTerrible's topic in Comics General
Well I had trouble at the beginning to understand, which may have been a frustration not complaint. I figured it was my problem The chart is very readable of course, and especially if you're used to charts, so I knew I was inept. I still enjoy the heck out of stats, and it is very much appreciated. I know that I don't have the books in grade like that, a few, which is why I make this post.... -

That and by the time I saw the post, I thought it was the thread I started about toy career hiring by CGC. I just wanted to be sure to reciprocate. -

@Get Marwood & II understand you have a translator. Please assist. It wasn't a joke so I'll explain, as no one likes to explain jokes. I posted a trivial post count post, because I think it's cool when I notice, and he respomded in kind and that's brotherly love. He mentioned "300 posts" which he'll have a spartarian chance to get to, by the pun of "it'll be Sparta soon enough!" -
Qualifiers! I can see the interview now, what is this? "A toy!" You're hired!

How rare are modern newsstand editions?
ADAMANTIUM replied to paqart's topic in Modern Age Comic Books
Definitely a fine addition, considering, and I'm hoping the step of Faith turns out well. So far sooooo good! I remember having the option to buy the newsstand for $400 a vf, but bought a Hulk 181 a couple of days before or a week, and I was once again totally broke. No regrets, I just bought the direct that came back 9.8 eventually. They were talking about it at the LCS in hush tones trying to give their regulars a chance first, and this was 2017-18, maybe 19 and it hadn't quite explode, also, I wasn't quite a regular at the LCS yet Welcome to the boards! -
It's become like the other programming that I don't often watch, too much going on, that will have to sort itself out. A lot of AA, accept the things I can or cannot control
-
Is that a threat? It reminded me of a local lawyer on tv, his tune catch phrase at the end of the commercial? is "... Don't let an accident wreck your life?!?", which I've often thought sounded a little mob oriented

ah interesting, I follow him on Facebook, now he's "somewhat" vegan and goes for walks that he records and posts. I want to ask you if your comment is recent or within the last 2 years, but I'll trust you He was also a spokes person for weight watchers for a time

idk, but there were a few billboards as a kid I would have sponsored from Coors, these cats are more the type, so maybe windows of opportunity? I'm sure it was just to commemorate attending or attempting to get on the show rather than an "official anything." Still they still look way too sober to be a winner on the Price is Right

I can only think of the countless "possibilities" er toys to catalogue and factor in determinants for a grading scale
-
-
That $800 though? a lot of comic goes into that "$800!"
-
Indeed, I thought it was just fun in the end it's a big transition, and the post was more on a whim than the actual choice But if it started a conversation, then who knows? I didn't get many toys as a kid, so it's fun to hear y'all talk and reminisce!!

That's so funny. I always thought of Kevin Smith as Matt Wagner's fat brother He had a major heart attack and isn't fat anymore. He survived the Death Widow vein or something

ADAMANTIUM replied to StillOnly25Cents's topic in The Signature Room
Oh it was #24 and yes it was, still I'm surprised at the turn of what art may become with comics.... Speaking of, Artgerm is attending a con in June that I might go for a sketch, I'll have to pray about that 😆 -
Excited to see results and I'm glad you're keeping us updated!

Is that the one that did Harley Quinn #25? 1 st Harley who laughs? I noticed that it is striking, the variant, I'll probably pass, but looked popular...
