  1. I agree about the cartoon factor. Say fried green killer tomatoes, or eek the cat! Some think stuff is whacky today, but I feel it was just as whacky then just a different source.
  2. As I had mentioned one of the first I picked up too, and I agree.
  3. In with the new new, and out just as quick? glad there was time for it I suppose. Why the interest? did you have some? or feeling to pick it up?
  4. I'm not sure why the colors strike me as moody, and yet the rock is a bit for the times. Shades of an older time, like a filter
  5. Jorge Jimenez will be coming back with issue 135 (it's also Batman #900). He took a temporary break to work on another project I believe. I'm glad he is still around those design variants kind of hit their peek at the runs for a while, I hope he can make something of the Punchline. I'm not too sure how it all keeps going around and what it will come back too, but I know of him at least.
  6. The peace that comes with those old instruments. I've long waited for one and spend on comics instead.
  7. I grasp the concept, wish I had thought of the premise. Regardless, DC needs a comeback kid.
  8. LOVE the DC pick up I gorilla. I ape the flash mercy. Do apes have 5 toes?and 5 fingers/ or only the GRODD
  9. Trade Paperbacks are the source for many reading availability, and yet it isn't my expertise so thank you.
  10. you have my condolences. Indeed my dad is still kicking at 82 years of age, 1940, it is respectable to say he's been there, I hope you have the love!
  11. I did the same. I tried to jump back on at an older age, and I tore that bike up, not sure a bike can hold me now and I'm only 222 lbs.
  12. I got a prescreen pass to this as well, I might go, Brother is a little discouraged at the fact we've missed some of these, but I suppose that if they are still produced that is all that matters. I mean others might enjoy them more, I did and do. Just the way the cookies crumble.
  13. well I got a prescreen pass to this as well My accompaniment hasn't been as thrilled as I have, I guess that is to be expected in the scheme of things. I'm happy, and yet have my own thoughts about these, and I'm just, glad that it is the time for comics. Whether it'll remain or burn out, I'm not aware, but I'll enjoy while it lasts. Shazam was my dads comic as a kid, still remembers the story etc I guess that is something I can be happy about, internally
  14. That's your jam! The Authority I had the Rat Queens and the Wytches. I gave it as trade offering (only as extra though) to a LCS for my Star Wars 68, as in I got those 2 for $2 a piece, LCS didn't seem as thrilled.
  15. That was a nice movie on PSP! Glad the art holds up
  16. Thanks. I'll admit an odd thing to confess and yet those were the days. Snoopy a kinder gentler soul*
  17. Believe it or not this helps, thank you for being gracious 😊 it's appreciated 👍
  18. 8.0? Snap, that must smell like a great comic! Still glad it's sealed and comfortably preserved. Beats tanning and cigarettes any day of the week Snoopy is a kinder gentler should to be remembered for sure.
  19. I'm waiting the day that I can look toward the registry awards, but have been so broke and tweaking the description. I am now just awaiting someone to read it all I know that cgc says they meticulously scrutinize or diligently seek winners. (Take your pick ) I almost feel bad for the guy or gal that has to read all my sentences. Given my typing skills.
  20. It constantly amazes me how people can keep things in such nice shape. I have a José consecutive starting line up that I bought in like 1987, and snap if I didn't look at it the other day to compare to what's posted. I admire the effort!
