  1. technically now that I've had time to look, the 2022 issues of hulk start at #768 I believe, which is Hulk #1 from 2022, which also, need to be added to Incredible Hulk Complete Incredible Hulk complete stops at #709 cert # for Hulk #1 (768) from 2022 is, 4000170002 Sorry for not adding cert #'s to some of my past requests.... I wasn't thinking I have added the 2022 run of Hulk to the Incredible Hulk Complete set. Let me know what other books you would like me to add, if any. Thanks. 11/15/22
  2. I've only heard things and don't have a firm grasp really to suggest anything much. I'm not an authority on these, so I'll just see what becomes.of.it. Cheers.
  3. as a complete aside: How is the Newsstand a "shenanigan", when shouldn't the Direct be the "created for market shenanigan?" all point of view I guess? Stinks we've seen such few suggestions; although, I don't pick a side either, whatever is decided on will be mostly out of my hands anyway, and I'll live with it. The debate is young and so is this thread, if changes happen next year. I really almost rather stay out of it, as I haven't seen all the direct/newsstand threads, mostly because of this situation for this thread that it won't ever have a "final conclusion"
  4. To that point now that Newsstand gets a notation but has been around the longest, should we really give them that hard a time? Direct market was created and yes a lot was direct market only. Just because we no longer have a Newsstand market, what happens if we do again? What then? And just because it's no longer the norm, should we be disheartened for the as of now longest running distribution to be set apart? I think the DM only in ASM would be fewer in numbers even with it being the last ten years. I might be wrong on all of that, but it's the way I understand it.
  5. Ya since we're waiting on them to sort that out, I figured we could start with what was already there. I'm agreeable to sets of newsstands only to dm only, but that means direct ASM would be missing #1-158 or whenever the dm started. Js keep in mind that Newsstand came first
  6. Thanks for letting others know! I know there is a buffer built in there somewhere, and it seems CGC has a lot on their plate!
  7. that's josie and the pussycats "complete" set by the way, if that wasn't clear
  8. I was thinking... Should we add "archie's pals and gals #23" to the Josie and the Pussycats set? We do this with other series, when the 1st appearance is in a certain series, but then directly after the 1st app it goes straight into their 1st ongoing? I mean I like the title of the set the way it is, and I don't believe that it should be changed, as that is the series: Josie and then the Pussycats. Just since Josie is the Title character, maybe we should add her 1st app as well? Thoughts? Added slot: Archie's Pals 'N' Gals to set: Josie and the Pussycats (Complete) 11/14/22
  9. Lol I feel I should prattle further. Because there is not intrinsic value to them on any given day, they don't always sell for that much, if even more at all bbbbbuiuuiuuut Y'all were saying value doesn't have too much to do with it, and there is no denying that they're "rarer or harder to find in grade", just food for thought 🤔
  10. with all the talk of "newsstands" and them getting slots and or worth more points? Does this mean the ones that are there "NOW" like ASM in 500's and 600's $3.99 and $2.99 "newsstand editions" will be worth more? Lol I have like 15 or so books that are worth less than 10 points, books in VF or higher. I was just thinking out of 630 books my "average" is 113 points per book, imagine how much higher they would be if I sold off those newsstands. I mean they may not be "collectable as 30 or 35 cent variants" but isn't that nitpicking? I mean they're something, right? if a label notation is deserved, why shun that part of the hobby? Because they're new? a hassle to deal with? idk but I want to post a jim carrey gif of C'mon anyway, no sleep 'till..... Brooklyn!
  11. We'll see if it gets pinned or if it has action enough to get a reserve spot. I got to thinking that the title doesn't advertise who all is in there to do business with though. I wonder if there will be too much business, so to speak, that people end up needing their own thread? Picture for the thread looks nice though ! If I do say so myself
  12. They will be pressed as well after the signing, so yes I am. CGC does the signing first then everything else. They told me it could take up to Nov 11th or a little after to check in everything. As well it may take McFarlane more than one trip to cgc to accomplish it all. Perhaps signing the rest, once started, after the new year. So hang in there, it's going to be a minute 😂
  13. @ak47po when was your McFarlane delivered to cgc? Mine was delivered Oct 10th and isn't on the submission page yet, I'm wondering what's up?
  14. After the cut off, I believe it says sfg because you didn't pay for press, and if you did it needs a call. It goes to received at ccs if a press, imo or what I remember only goes to sfg as it was received by cgc. Sfg is cgc's natural "received status"
  15. The spectre #2 sounds cool though! I've recently run into issues of the character both in the wild and LCS, although I don't usually, so I was wondering if there was news? But it had been passed on by me for the most part until recently
  16. I think I kind of explained it the other day, but I forget where. LCS was building up for the holidays , that was their reasoning for a "slab sale!" I have a feeling, since we're Dallas, that they sent a lot of books to the competition that didn't sell, although there was cgc in the sale too hence the avengers. But a lot of it was the competition so not a lot to choose from, and I'm hoping they're not losing money with the drop in prices etc. Or value across the web. Still, I'm sure or I trust they've sorted it out.
  17. Decent penmanship to boot! Safety first
  18. Ya he'll be back. I did end up getting that avengers 2 cgc 2.5 for $200 though
  19. I have a first gen label 9.6 tomb of Dracula #12 that I'd love to trade for tod#10 cgc. I thought about starting a thread but idk anyone specifically that has an under copy, nor do I know someone who is as ok with 2nd appearance than me. Lol
  20. If it were that drastic of a change, while it would even a playing field, it would devastate those in high position on the face of it. When they asked why or dug deeper, they may or may not accept it, but really I don't think administration would go for it. Too much change. I agree with what we have in the way of points, although why Malibu sun 13 suffered and books like Ms marvel 2014 in 9.4 are 150 points. I can't see that parallel on importance vale or anything else. What we have I agree is still weird and needs correcting somehow
  21. I wouldn't think it would bother me. For established value $$ score books, if I'm understanding correctly, it would still pick up when adjust3d once a year? I think your attributed score suggestion would only factor badly if it was never monitored. I'd like to hear more than once a year, but I know there is a lot to consider!
