As far as I know, you are allowed to make buyers pay immediately for buy it now items. It does not work the same for auctions or make an offer sales. Lightning may be referring too, when sending an offer on a book PayPal has been demanding a way to pay if accepted? It doesn't allow all the options to pay that way either... Maybe lightning is or maybe he isn't, but that is a pain regardless. I think it just when sending an offer but it might be other avenues as well, that eBay demands the payment method when discussing and item for sale

Ebay will send emails automatically to watchers that missed out on an item if it's relisted...they're desperate like that to charge you fees Good to know! At first I thought you just meant with the "people are interested 🤔 send offer" option that eBay usually does with enough watchers. Good to know a canceled listing has fail-safes too!

First I'd seen in theaters, took my dad who is 84 this year and it's first he's been in 10+ years Screen X for some spice. Rolls along fine with not too much trouble. Not my lore or something I know too much about, dad neither, but he called it strange and I pointed out some annomolies I noticed after viewing to him chuckling. He called it strange and I called it bonding, he liked how it was marketed for all over the world in locations, told me to let him know how it does internationally.

I'm seeing this about noon today. Easter weekend or not. I don't believe I've ever seen a Godzilla movie in theaters, so I'll go in with fresh eyes. I'm old enough to remember other movies, just never got around to it 😆

Where in the world was the Quality Control at CGC???
ADAMANTIUM replied to Wally's Comics's topic in Comics General
Was just a thought that I had, any news will be helpful. Not that I need it confirmed, but an established presser as yourself and long time boardie, and with cgc currentky having an in house investigation? I'd hope your word and reputation get you a doorway to Matt Nelson to rectify, espeially given everyones current track record.... and idk, if somehow it sheds some light for him and helps you. The submitter is probably stressed if a high value, and so on, I hesitated to post because I dont want to pry. Just hoping for some kind of a return to good faith outcome. Yikes -
Where in the world was the Quality Control at CGC???
ADAMANTIUM replied to Wally's Comics's topic in Comics General
The air around here seemed to lighten up or however you spell it. I felt like it was picking back up with the sharper sealed cases or less "mechanical errors" being mentioned. But idk that it has been consistently good to alleviate anything. Especially if the knock to 3.5 was last week recent. Even three to four months doesn't seem consistent enough for that drop from 9.2! -

WTF are you serious?? Expand The more I think about this, I'm wondering if its the same book you submitted. The dif between a cracked 9.2 and what you described, sounds like someone used it as a Swiffer and cleaned a floor with it. There were such similar circumstances as recent as three to four months ago 😭 With the seriousness it can feel like a long time or a while, when it has been only a short period. It makes me wonder how recent this 9.2 came back spine split 3.5. Is my point -
@CGC Mike @Doj just FYI their call center is still open i believe if you want to call or text cgc

Took a gander at your registry, that is some nice progress, and all around cool books! Not just the hobby goblin too Nice to see some progression -
Tbh if hotshot wasn't on the up and up, I wouldn't doubt that their situation was so bad that towards the end they didn't even bother fulfilling orders, which is a shame, because that is in more ways than one. Cgc can in effect control what was sent to them, but given cgc s response that it "they were all sent and over and done with?" That sounds like they did their part with the submissions actually sent to them and had it rectified, but hotshots end is a "loose end" that CGC can't tie up themselves. If hotshot didn't even send to cgc nor involve cgc with some orders, which would be an unknown to CGC and they can't verify or force hotshot to comply, other than your proof, of which you probably have, and I might pm cgc mike with what info you have! Try and see if cgc can't internally document their involvement or if their involvement looks to be all sewed up and fulfilled on their end? THEN AND ONLY THEN do I understand cgc s response to talk to hotshot. All of this is speculation on my part, but is what I'm hearing if it were me. Idk

I'm not picking sides, but the way it sounds or imo, it looks like cgc did just that, but somehow when they are quoted, "all have been sent"... It doesn't explain why yours are not? If that helps get to the root of anything? Did hotshot even send the books you ordered to CGC for you? Like they were supposed too? Idk Or more importantly idk how to suggest a course of action other than pm or tag cgc mike which sounds to me, again, like CGC already has determined it is a done deal So I just don't know

Haha. The Big Lou life insurance ads are the best! ”Smoke? Overweight? Got a touch of sugar diabetes? Call Big Lou… he’s on meds, too Or "Divorce policy? Lou is on his 3rd as well!" Something to that effect. If anything was a scam, I would have bet money that commercial was, I didn't do the math on a policy though. But it made me 🤔 think

It split it diagonal but with such force it popped the top off.

Sony's GHOSTBUSTERS: FROZEN EMPIRE starring Paul Rudd (3/22/24)
ADAMANTIUM replied to Bosco685's topic in The Movie Forum
Ikr, we still or "I" may have been a little extreme, but it was in correlation to what he estimated. 1st day viewing in primetime for Imax around here is only $18.75 and that is with tax, but still 2 medium drinks and a reg popcorn is about $22. He was speaking of 4 adults and a child, so double what it would cost me at = $59. that is only $16 off $75 times 2 so it can feel like, "this better be the best movie ever!" regardless- 81 replies
