  1. I thought magic was as well. I saw Godzilla yesterday, not sure if anything was magic but just saying I didn't get why Godzilla would be interested in superman either so idk
  2. Then as an adult I did buy a sketchbook, but I felt it wasn't as many pages, and even more that most of the art wasn't original to the book. Like the ones from when I i was a kid were with wolvie vs sabretooth. Or very few were original
  3. Bought the slab as a raw to submit... But had to buy the raws to read, thinking surely the wolverine didn't go through with it and it was just a ploy? Variant cover ploy? Boy was I wrong and glad the notation is now on the slabs
  4. My childhood copy. Centerfold pin up that is the same as the cover... Comic book picture pin up book, just art I bought several as a kid, because I didn't even know there were such things as artist or whatever sketchbooks to buy, or I never had enough money, nor parents to take me by a lcs
  5. Classic 😄🤣 Similar to judge dredd but also rumored lady punisher 1st app and as a police officer
  6. Slight edit, I slabbed the third print from the dollar bins (as condition shows) because it showed the character I bought it for on the cover!
  7. Bought the first cover as a slab, saw the 3rd print on the stands to read, slabbed it, but found the last cover in the dollar bin, which was the 2nd print so I bought to leave raw an permanent reader
  8. The wizard due to the mail away... But like twenty years after the fact... Just to have a token of it, as the 9.8 slab was one of the first I ever bought. For $15 at a bargain bin slab bin when I was new to collecting back in 2014-15, found it at LCS It got me interested!!
  9. More Newsstands that I got for the nich, but a direct copy as well to read See if they're worth there salt, some were "interesting"😉🤔
  10. I got a direct raw for the cover, which is but I liked it at the time, I sides just tell of ms marvel getting her nose into business not her own
  11. I got a kick out of the back cover It's a crack up But so typical for the series!
  12. Lol I remember being really young and finding this and the reg #1 in a used bookstore. My cousin was staying with us and wanted the reg #1, I was asking questions, of which he told me it was a 4 book continuation. He told me this tpb had the whole story, and I remember at 7 or 8 thinking, he was silly and I got the better deal for the whole story My tpb never survived until I was an adult so I guess he wins!
  13. Oh snap! I thought maybe it was the price I quoted but the child was free. Still, I agree it's expensive for a family outing that's for sure, or whatnot 😉 Usually I don't buy in to the food, usually just pick up a pizza for a few slices before and the rest after. However, after going for a while, the smell gets to you, and it's hard to say no, just Lord willing I don't want to make it a habit! 😉
  14. usually sold in lots..... Are competition company gradable, so if you spent your time searching, you might find examples of "high value" ones.... While "I think they are cool", they strike me as cool as when they first arrived, but I didn't ever buy too many "then" either so I wouldn't expect longevity... but with grading a certified collectable, who knows
  15. He Is Risen. Thankfully Easter is upon us! ❤️ Due to that social played a skit of stand up comedian Richard Pryor and his "hitting the big time going home with a playboy 'bunny!" Of course I watched it and laughed since it was two minutes long, but Facebook and the like really don't have to try very hard for "algorithms" and such do they? That made me laugh more!
  16. The way I'm reading it, is Marvel made the decision of using already established facts, just since he's a living body can consult and whatnot, so they changed of their own accord to include him in the royalties and basically hired him to be a living name. I get "roy" waited so long, but I really don't thing "roy" had anything to do with it. If it was just "roy" and not Marvels idea, he would have got no where, as he didn't for 40 years. I think this is a "Marvel decision" that everybody would think that since "ROY" has the "most to gain" he must be behind it, which is laughable given Marvels reputation with such subjects. I don't think there was an argument in Heaven with Len Wein and Herb Trimpe rolling in their perspective graves, only that Marvel employed and gave credit established in contracts at the time, and now Marvel is changing those aspects AND FOR WHATEVER REASON ie be it a living name to put in credits. 1)Roy just waken up one morning went to Marvel and said, "I'd like royalties?" and Marvel said "OK!" 2)or Roy waited 40 years to "plot royalties" Ahhah! "Everyone is dead now is my chance!" 3) Or "marvel had an idea that would benefit marketing, and roy agreed"
  17. Wish Claremont would get more of a nod for gsxm. It wasn't his job to finalize the ending, but they agreed to go through with his ending anyway
