The price rivals the Walmart marvels. I'm assuming the reason I haven't heard of the DC is because marvel sprinkles the packs with a few $books. I'll admit some of the marvel are variants though, or Walmart exclusives and 1st appearances. I'm wondering what we'll hear from the DC packs The title in modern section for Walmart says "3 packs" but there were eventually 10 packs as well, then maybe DC chose target. all priced about the same as DC

I was tempted to just say this via PM, but you're not alone. I have a cgc sub that shipped, it got tracking yesterday. I noticed this morning that they didnt notate the mark jewelers in one issue/slab. I called 1st thing this morning.... guy told me, "well if it has tracking its basically out the door". Cest le vi I can do a mechanical error same as everyone, no worries, yet while on the phone it felt a bit like I still love you cgc, hope best forumites dont lose hope

I didnt ever ask to have it confirmed, but was this character in the tick animated series too? I'm sure I've followed this character the flaming carrot at some point, it just seems so familiar, but I cant seem to place it. Alternatively it could be that I read a few, seems also that it was in a lot of guides with the picture idk just scratching my head. It is a crazy cover, fits the attitude perfectly

I couldn't find a good gif for pppffftt ahhhhhh but anyway I really hoped that the new minimum cost to cgc, I hoped somehow that would float all boats, but it may not have been a long enough amount if time. It is a thought, but again, I'm not sure the economics of that aspect.

Would be my guess that they don't expect it to last that long, but that's my gut.

it is indeed a problem. I used my ups account and tracked what was being delivered. You may have luck checking the shipped if you have an account. I was told you could search for status, but once shipped, youd need to call for the tracking. You still have tomorrow I think before the long weekend

Yes one punch, and it's coming back next week as 9.2 qualified, as the sticker didn't look easy to detach so idk. I feel you cause I've got these fcbd before or several and it can seem hit and miss, although if store stamps and stickers give it a qualified label, then that may be how there are "fewer numbers" making it more attractive for value. One punch is an established character feeding value off other media. I'm just glad to own it in comics, cause that's "my preference" of media or art form. Daughter of blade feeds off blade, but and imo, for her to be further relevant, she needs stories under her belt and a thickening of the plot. Look at silk, spider Gwen and miles, as of 2016 or whatever most could be got already slabbed and in 9.8 for $1-300 range. I'm not saying they're "movie or game" books but they did have to develop relevance. I'm not promoting this app, key collector did have a stat that in 2021 alone there were like 100 to 200 1st appearances. Got to be prepared to wait for stand outs and hope it's still affordable when you decide, or read the story for yourself cause it might help in your decision, or buy more than the first app and follow a character. If you yourself develop a kinship, you're probably not alone. I'm rambling a bit but big picture kind of stuff.

Lol I will say that anything holding true value takes time, time time time. Time to forget about, time for not many copies to survive, just time in my experience. I guess it would depend on what your "speculation is", if a quick burst of funds? Then usually were talking pennies on the dollar, most often, and there hasnt been enough time for these to get back from cgc with a notation on the label. You've made the spec, just set it and forget it, or rabbit hole it by having them slabbed? Those are options, but I'd hope for the long run. I just had a fcbd book graded that's rose in value, and it's from 2016 ........ it took 6 years to climb There was spec last year about venom 25, with variants out the wazoo, including a fcbd that was meant to be released first, but due to circumstances didnt get done in time, there is a cgc label notation about it. This is a long story to say your probably not alone in this daughter blade thing, I know I have a copy, but time, time ,time.

Passion for reading is a must, or at the very least the subject matter. Omnibus have a thread of collectors too, and I'm glad your finding what you like. That's the best advice the boards has and it's all summed up into "buy what you love!" Usually people find genres ages and or other criteria, then a venue, it all gets into the thrill of the hunt, but to be able to sit and read is always

I dabbled in cards too, glad you had some success! That's what helps, passion first. The thrill of the hunt too, I hope that pays off as well, but hope you can enjoy reading comics as much as cards.
