Official Tick Appreciation Thread
ADAMANTIUM replied to Transplant's topic in Copper Age Comic Books
You havent missed fcbd. I think there was a list around somewhere in the other forums. I didnt see the tick, but I didnt check it close. Still the list should be around -
Are they still at ccs?
-
Has that worked in the past? I did notice them. I had a mostly black cover that I wish I had not forced a backing board between the edges of the newest style slab. It came out scratchy But I assume your using compressed air? Spray?

It is nice to see all the lines, err curves too

This Week in Your Bronze Age Collection!!
ADAMANTIUM replied to TupennyConan's topic in Bronze Age Comic Books
With all the pink, it kind of makes it look like a "clown cover", which doesn't "hit the mood just right!" I just noticed the bottom right cover corner, I'm guessing that kept it a 9.6 Not much else wrong, maybe a bit worn top cover corner left, yes, it did look striking when I first saw it though Graders notes says light stress, so I assume it wasn't pressed..... -

Yes tracking tat starts on delivered, but that is not "received", which is as far as I know goes directly to sfg a year out?
-
Then you MEAN TO SAY DELIVERED not RECEIVED
-
That would be, I assume, a same difference kind of thing. At least from my knowledge, received was SFG for the past year, which brings to mind "is it really scheduled a year out upon received?"

Mine is slow economy no press from October 24th. I believe @Bird is the same from August though, so there is hope, if the info is correct 💯

Awesome! Not too shabby at all. And welcome to the boards!

Ya I kind of dont have the dough, but Point well taken What I do find unnerving is that I've passed on some modern slabs that would be popular with folk, due to low registry points. I like to read those as well, but to make up for "over spending" on already read/viewed slabs for runs instead readable raws is, I have somehow limited my moderns to mostly what I find in the bins. I enjoy going out every weekend or sometimes weekday to find the gems, but when I should have it "in grade" then I pony up. 1) In short older books =slab/registry 2) Moderns= thrill of hunt/no registry, which I'm reconsidering, also making me question why I do #1. Thanks for letting me vent, an outsider's perspective is appreciated

Enjoy!

The thoughts on the registry, I'd also be curious "others thoughts?" I'm Currently putting together the Phoenix and dark run, but I feel the sentiment of your post as all the "keys" per se may have been obtained. I struggle with run collecting, when there are alternatives, but if I can see putting the run together in raws, I'm trying to translate that to slabs. Like after reading, or watching the animated series. I may be off topic or this is seen as a rant, there are two board emojis for that Still, it is hard for me. I like the run, I love the reading, and the show was a pivotal point for me. Imagine ASM 121 and 122 spread over 50+ issues I respect the sentiments of the post, cause it would seem I'm not getting anything out of it but only for me

I don’t think they will use all of them maybe one of them, but that’s about it I didn't notice if a Even though it's a spoiler thread. So I guess they can still use older actors or actresses they've already used. I lose it all in the multiverse so to speak. Of who is who and what not. A lot of cheering in the theater for the cameos, that they were still talking and couldn't hear them all. A decent flick, I just wasn't that into it. Strange is kind of like Deadpool in that he's willing to go down the rabbit hole, until he's not, which I guess is the moral point of the movie Still could be a bit much for younger audiences.
