  1. Does ME = Modern Express? I think if it is, they have had a 8-10 business days from what I can recall. it means "mechanical error" As in if it was a reholder that had defects that CGC is reholdering for free
  2. Obviously I would like to pay less for filler and depending on condition roughly $5 per for bigger lots if tougher to find and higher grade may go up to $7 but that would be the most I would want to pay per book. I am usually pretty happy when I get them in $3-5 range. I agree with the same sentiments. I've posted some that I've found at cover price, but .... Even at $3 to $4 a piece for a rando can eat into the "fun or mad funds". It may sound silly but I dont have it like that the way I've budgeted. I've taken pics in store and posted to the boards, idk why, just so if they were unknown someone may mention. When I started I was big on Newsstand "editions", that the price differs from the direct version. Those get a label notation, and it may not be a 1st appearance but it gave me a thrill of the hunt.... if that helps. I still have some low census population that are never talked about and I dont really post cause all they are are the "editions" Newsstand with nothing else of note It's up to you! It can all feel a bit fools gold ish, if nothing else like a 1st, origin, or other normal attractive feature. Just try to take the time, see if it suits you, since you may have a homey hole. I mean it's there, if you dont, I'm almost positive someone else will, well it seems likely. But ya it can be a bit time consuming and fools errands but if it hits you as the thrill of the hunt, it CAN be rewarding
  3. Since we may be picking more than one, this is kind of a long story: I paid for this early 2019, it was to my knowledge cancelled or thereabouts later that year. I might have even been refunded at one point. Came out of the blue at the beginning of this year that they were back from cgc and to confirm address. This was the only facilitator that was easy for doing Dell Otto remarques, and I'm glad they made good on their promises I haven't found anyone else to be as helpful because the artist lives in Italy.
  4. I remember when you got the sketch, and if I remember correctly it was a story itself that you loved it. I have the same sentiment on bats 635 and similarly 656, but havent been as well off on looking for either. I have on 655, the world evens out, I hope. Knowing you're posts, I'm glad to see these revisited!
  5. It's what I got, but take it how you want in fun. Lol that too is what I got, I was ecstatic to do better by 6, but I'm sure It'll get me back to the middle of the pack Cause I was bottom bottom
  6. I had subby at 9.0 as well, I think that may be common when the results come out.
  7. I've gotten 1 bullseye each round, but combined have been off by 20. 1st =13 2nd =7, I'll take that as getting better. I was sure to get them in quick the following round, I'm hopeful
  8. Its probably on page 2 of the forum as it fell off the spare a grade 1st page.
  9. Wow and rounding out a 9.8 too! Sounds like a score! Glad even though it sat, it was kept well enough to send off.
  10. Tales of suspense#77 7.5's selling for near $1,000 Score adjusted
  11. It's what I got too. My first impression was, "let it ride!" No snake eyes! Haha
  12. I agree. I've had label notations such as "distorted hologram" that didn't show up under tracking that WERE on the label upon received and in hand. Still I could have sworn they WERE at least in the grader's notes
  13. Does anybody have an opinion on what they would do? I plan on keeping the book but I'd rather have it in a green label, in case I ever decide to sell the book and forget about the coupon, also having a "misleading" label doesn't sit well with me. I also don't want to send it back to CGC just to wait around a month for a new label, I paid to get this back as quickly as possible, so unless they offer some sort of refund, or credit I may just have to keep the book with the blue label. is the missing thing in the graders notes? If the label notation is there, even with a blue label, then I wouldn't worry too much. CGC might have adjusted the grade to give it blue, but with the label notation?
  14. I know you're not bumping pms, or kind of alluded to not putting out "those kinds of reminders", that and we still have a little more than 24 hours.... Yet I wonder if tagging them in a post would make a difference, rather than individual pm's idk, I'm sure you thought of it, just wanted to help
  15. Yes that is the announcement CGC made last year, I'm not too sure how true it is anymore, if I'm honest. But you're not crazy, it happened, it just was never honored in a way that we can keep tabs of that anymore, unfortunately
