Explains the fingerprints appearing on books. There are a lot of books named Sherlock Holmes, none named "grader Steve" Bring on the the Dorrito's!

TBH I just filled out forms today, and struggled. Yes they have a "search function" but my issue with a "mark jewelers" wasn't an "option" and after selecting the comic there was no where to write it. Anyhoo, I refilled it out, and clicked the "can't find my comic" link on the form to add: the issue with the Mark Jeweler note in the "variant slot".... UF4 shouldn't be "that complicated" but given the issue, the hired authority to slab books should gain knowledge enough when receiving books, that it shouldn't get so far in the process, sometimes, for it to be a Grader issue idk food for thought

I will check into this. I called back and spoke to someone else, they confirmed what I knew that it happened about 3 weeks ago, and maybe the reason "she didn't know" was because it isn't back from pressing NOW I understand how that could be misleading for her, but she had put me on hold to "talk to the signature series departement" and came back with that last post full or worry for me. I'm sure she did the best she can, but I almost flipped right out of my chair

@CGC Mike I just had a phone service rep tell me that my book isn't signed and that no ones is, that the signing for Bagely hasn't taken place yet? Absurd, they posted on Facebook that it happened or so I thought? I'm nervous, with the QC on UF4 books being what it is, I'm not sure what to do ...

Pressing isn't always needed. I have a prescreen coming tomorrow with books mostly from 1990. No pressing. for the sake of peace of mind, you should add if the "results" were impressive or at least satisfactory

Lol so it came off creepy Indeed. Realize it comes from a place of love for the hobby in sincerity. You've been here long enough that you should know these peeps have "been through things on the boards." Like deceivers and wise guys. Better they be on guard than to have the boards like the wild west. Still, that's why I curbed the thought, as in, your not trying to strike a deal or sell to con anyone. As those types have been around since the start of the boards, the usual perspective is to double check. You were casual in posting, but to most not in those shoes, these books are a big deal. Try not to take it the wrong way
