  1. Ooooh I didn’t know that! Oooops He was just showing some thread appropriate books
  2. I had the number one registry set for invisibles with a #1 in CGC 8.0! and I was the one to have it added to the registry along with being the only set running when I had it up, with no competition. Either everyone kept theirs raw or idk After a couple years of being numero uno with that grade and volume I finally googled it. The inspiration hit me whacky haha so I'm glad there is another collector that finally has the #1 slot. I found it in the wild and thought it was enough variety with the collection to be a nice pickup, I still have the book and slab around somewhere.
  3. might want to blur out the labels, as competition labels aren't allowed on the boards Just an fyi, and nice books
  4. Maybe. Maybe? It was, "Hey can you draw and awesome Gwen Stacy on this for me, but make her sexy like in Street Fighter?" I'd think it would get a pass as Stacy, if she was in anyway related to this era of storyline, but like aren't all the clones and 'real' versions passed on at this point in the plot? So, either way it is a bit
  5. I was for the Chiefs, as whenever I played the Madden Video Game 15 to 20 years ago, they were my "go to!" I'm not too into football, though being in Dallas, TX, I don't have much of a choice. All it made me think of was somewhere somehow those game nights on an old X-box, old by gone friends were thinking, "he always picked the Chiefs!" idk I hope they're well-off Lord willing, and surviving 🙏 🕊️✌️
  6. From what I've read of Sandman it is thought provokingly well written, that is why it has a place in my collection, although the Netflix show was "rough or not my cup of tea" and it has me wondering in the registry if somehow, I've missed the point of Sandman from the little, I've read. Supernatural pitfalls that have questions attempt answers, all good in its own universe. Very well written and engaging
  7. Welcome to the boards! A label might happen or be in demand, and yet, the licensing issues with characters are the main thing that causes some to be put on hold. That said, I haven't heard any stirrings yet with Groo, but I'm glad to hear there is interest. Funny how Groo mostly reminds me of the newspaper funny pages or that it would work well with one strip a week. It has a writing and art style all its own
  8. Impressive. Time worth the effort to enjoy, building or rearranging. Hope for more.
  9. He's the man with the plan! Lol There are still are about 10 prescreen passes I haven't used, but NO "related comics!" Some are a stretch I'll admit. Like ASM #134 and #135 about Parker and Mary Jane out on a date across the bay, so I put a romantic comedy prescreen pass. Or similarly ASM 162 with the Punisher on the loose in New York so escape from New York DVD. A while back I only had the prescreen titles for what was specifically comic related, like Spidey Far from Home or Antman etc. I try not to make it too much of a stretch 😕😞 They really need a feedback section.
  10. To be fair, I'm going through the registry giving "cool", ahem, back cover pics. I've been told it livens up the joint. 25 of which I've designated the back cover to leave as the comics back cover because they're "special." #47 and Raphael being some of the special ones. My back cover pics of actual comic backings are slimming down, but I "think" it looks better. Tank girl and etc are special enough, in one of my posts, to leave as is so it's all got to count for something!
  11. I was tempted but even I drew back at that one . The cover reminds me too much of the 1st movie , but was tempted with the back cover action! I now feel justified! #47 isn't a bad cover, just happened the back cover had more impact for some reason. The cover is a classic all the same though.
  12. Ha ha a lot of those I tried to say kinda, some more than others
  13. cause "maybe we'll get some movement" this next week, technically it has only been at CGC for about a week or two, but "maybe"
