  1. Ya that was alarmingly stated and I'm glad it was, very relevant too, but I didnt think it was very recent. I had heard something like it a long time ago, but from older forum boardies, that I had assumed was early 2000's cgc business and not recent Silly sentence structure corrected, but I'm not sure people would be as open to state these things if it wasn't common place to them.
  2. Tbh an ASM 300 9.8 hasn't sold on eBay since December before this news broke. I was curious and looked but didn't see a first print sale. ASM 252 is trucking along in 9.6, I didn't check currents in 9.8. Hulk sells because of the dip probably but idk. I think there were X-Men #266 mentioned in there somewhere, 9.8 only, but I forget. Bought it from another boardie, but recent sales drops $200, from $800 down to $600. It's hard to believe that we're really only one month In. I stopped spinning my wheels though, and while not a cheerleader myself, some of those comments I'm glad we're made! The understanding that reholders weren't treated like the case had to be perfect, needed to be said. Hence the, "I just sent in for reholder and never worried" as @NewWorldOrder I think mentioned. That it was the books themselves that were checked. Glad there isn't as much in fighting as all information can be gathered for a common goal. Grain of salt
  3. Completely understandable and good to post up, just so it doesn't look to be dodging questions or emotions of recent relief. No one would think out of the woods yet, but better to get out ahead to say as all men would on unsure promises, "we'll see!"
  4. I had seen a few recent covers that looked like his, but I thought he was mostly doing signings Which is what I thought this was mainly about, although sounds doubtful given ability and or prospects. He just summed up a signing around Dec, and other than offering a special over worked "chisel" signature (that admittedly looks pretty sometimes), that he might just be getting off the hype of being in rotation. He might have a clear image (pun?) Of how much he's able to continue, atm
  5. For laughs we could talk about the ptx slab I bought or summation there of that was 4.5 of #181? It was purple and green label and a 4.5 and freaking ptx bwhwhwhwhhahahhahahhaha @The Lions Den
  6. I feel you. So. Prepare for a I bought my hulk 181 slabbed from Dale Robert's cgc 7.5,. It was my first purchase over $500 and it arrived cracked, which Dale paid for reholder back in about 2016. It looks nm but has a semi bad case of foxing that makes it 7.5. I'm still trying to be OK with that and now this new added drama? it is what it be. The other 2 hulk 181 I've owned were much lower grade and submitted myself. My asm 300 9.8 I traded one of the lower grade 181 + some cash for, I vaguely remember the boardie, but was such a good even trade at the time it is hard to complain. Again given the drama one may now sell for more, but one may be less stressful My asm 252 is 2nd gen label 9.6 no worries. My asm 194 is a cgc 7.5 that my brother bought me raw that I subbed. It means I haven't had to keep up too much with any lists, but now that there is like 600+ other that aren't on the list? Oye! It is what it be. Time to breathe again will be after any of it sells a long while from now Lord willing
  7. A few more. Borderlands Moxxi and a smaller just as good and still fragile Gambit 😔
  8. Sounds awesome. I like that also if done in person it can strike up a conversation that some may not have had, would love to hear how it goes. In person is not always attainable and I understand that keeping the signer on their toes will be just the same . If it is something they've worked on then good to go. I've heard it said that Steranko himself had a somewhat limited body of work, but I haven't done my own research. I DO like the idea of it though, so good for you.
  9. This one due to the hair is fragile, so I had to place it in a spot that doesn't get human traffic around it, which is a MESS A little embarrassing. All these I eventually put in my registry as back cover pics, but other than that is just expensive decoration. This is the back cover pic of my asm #16 because it appears Daredevil is doing the same kind of combat move Not as cool as @Iconic1s doomsday and superman statues, but cest la vie!
  10. Was on the look out for a Red Sonja statue when one was on sale, but I had just started looking and passed. It sold. Came across this with my brother, he liked it. Got it then Google what the character Sweat Pea was from, which was a movie called Sucker Punch. I Google snippets of the movie and it was a depressing sludge for having obtained the statue Presents well though
  11. After a little mishap and some surgery, is back to somewhat presentable.
  12. With all the threads it can get lost in the shuffle, but it is on the 1st page, just needs looking for.
