  1. Classics Illustrated #40 HRN 75 (3rd edition). Solid VG or slightly better. $20 One of those better early covers they later replaced to be more innocuous.
  2. I think that’s everything but if any stragglers stumble by, I’ll send ‘em your way! Thanks everyone!
  3. Tales of Horror #12 Toby Press PCH with a Myron Fass cover. About FN-. Great color and gloss, holding back for two tiny pieces (1 each) out of back and front covers. All choices on eBay north of $200. Let’s say $175 here
  4. SOLD! Walt Disney’s Comics and Stories vol 4 #10 (1944) classic war bonds cover. FR/GD; rough complete copy that looks good in a Mylar. Placing it right between two solds on eBay, as it’s between them in appearance as well. $100
  5. Adventure Comics #346 copy A — VGFN to FN- $75 Four first appearances: Karate Kid, FerromLad, Princess Projectra, and Nemesis Kid; and Jim Shooter’s first work in comics (at age 13, if I recall!). A Legion key that is tough to find in high grade.
  6. I will now post probably the last five books for this thread, the second half of my “10 books from this one box must go” experiment…
  7. Reminder — there is a Point of Demarcation Poat on Page 7; any Dell/Harvey/Charlton before it is 25% off; any DC/Atlas/Marvel before it is 20% off (Not including the already-discounted Flash Sale books dotted through those first seven pages….go digging, there’s bargains, and I’m open to PM’s too, especially if you’re looking to make a pile.)
  8. SOLD! Marvel Super-Heroes #14 in FN range. One of my favorite under the radar Spidey books. First Ross Andru art on Spidey, and a density-shifting android that shoots energy beams from a gemstone in his forehead, a few months before Avengers #57. $20
  9. Blue Beetle #1 Modern Comics edition (1970’s reprint of the 1967 #1, which includes the first appearance of The Question.) very pretty low end of NM range copy. Graded 9.2’s are asking $160-$175 plus shipping on eBay. $75
  10. Ok, I’ve picked 10 more but I might only stay awake through five, in which case I’ll do five more tomorrow.
  11. In an effort to decide what other books I could bring myself to offer in this thread, I decided to give myself a challenge: Take one of my non- Black Hole boxes and pick from that one box 10 books that can leave my collection. I will offer them here later.
  12. Journey into Mystery #62 in GD- $150 1st appearance of the character who would later be known as Xemnu the Titan. Also known as a Hulk prototype. There’s been derision of “prototype” books as keys in recent years, but while I cannot say they are by any means undervalued, they are definitely underappreciated by those who deride them. Books like this and TOS 6, Challengers 3, Two-Gun Kid 60, etc etc are a great peek into the evolution of Marvel. It’s like seeing a now-famous band back when they were nobodies playing bars and doing covers.
  13. FLASH SALE! Take 25% OFF any Harvey/Dell/Charlton prior to this post! Take 20% OFF any DC/Marvel/Atlas prior to this post! (This applies to books that are not already on Flash Sale)
  14. Congrats Jay! Amazing and wonderful feat! There was no guarantee whoever had that last panel would not have held our regardless, after all. Pretty seffless of them to help make this happen.
