  4. I’ll probably never have one of those few Bloom County strips with Calvin and Hobbes in them, but I consoled myself with a pair of Mr. Richard (aka you-know-who) Tracy strips with Little Orphan Annie in them — Aug. 2014 dailies.
  5. thank you! I promise I’m trying to get there… Gotta get ‘em shot! And do my day job, feed the kids, all kinds of nonsense….
  6. To make up for delays, I'm working on a recap, ad there's been more stealth price cuts, and there's going to be another wave of silver/early bronze Marvel! Stay tuned, this party ain't over!
  7. I need to reshoot the back (filed it already) as that pic is blurry, but it’s an overall wear book, no chunks missing etc. I liked the bright pages and inside covers and lack of Marvel chipping. Any thoughts appreciated.
  8. Maybe 5.0 tops. Lotta edge tanning inside back cover, and that lower corner is too noticeable, like the edge chip cited above. Those are 3 limitations on an otherwise nice-presenting copy. I know @Primetimesaid grading standards were looser in the 90’s but I think this not an example of that. I think your sticker is an example of someone who couldn’t grade well, as they dutifully noted much of the existing damage and still overgraded it. While things were generally looser I don’t think those denoted collective flaws fit in a VF- bucket then or now. I still think your copy presents well for the grade, and as a buyer I’d pay a little more for it than a general wear 4.5 or 5.0 that might have more stress lines, less gloss, but no shadows or chips etc. I bet it looks north of 6.0 at a distance of 10 feet. It’s a beauty; pop it in a Mylar and enjoy it!
  9. Thank you for that; it’s my pleasure to be able to share affordably! And thank you for the takes too!
  10. Big-time Big Kahuna @Frisco Larson wins TOS 91 and TTA #'s 85,86,89,98,99! Thank you again!
  11. This is the way. Otherwise, ya start by trimming one damaged book “for display only” and the next thing you know you’re doing decoupage on flowerpots with PCH and Timelys. I’ve seen it; it’s ugly.
