  1. SOLD! Marvel Super-Heroes 1991 Winter Special 1st Squirrel Girl VG $50
  2. SOLD! Green Lantern #20 combo pack variant still sealed. 1st Jessica Cruz cameo. $90
  3. T2 Judgement Day #1-3 (complete) VFNM air better structure on all three but just noticed back cover edge foxing on #2 so that one is more of a nice-presenting technical mid-grade. Take the set for $10
  4. OK, It's Christmas night, I'm in receipt of multiple bottles of bourbon, I've got a stack of boxes behind me and we're all comic book fiends, so let's get started... This will be the first of 2 back-to-back Copper/Modern threads; this one mostly mainstream though all over the board within that category; the second will be all independents. I'll invoice at the end of this one for those who are done, but anyone is also welcome to sit through the Independents thread as well if your collecting tastes range over both and you want to maximize postage. Both threads will be long; this could take a while and be broken up over various posting sessions. Most of the books intended for the threads are not even photographed yet. Both threads will come in waves, therefore. 5 Simple Rules (Please, please read) 1st wins; tie/indeterminate goes to the thread. Payment is Check or Money Order (yeah, yeah I know I'm a dinosaur, troglodyte, luddite, mennonite, hermaphrodite etc. - I just don't have or want e-payments.) Shipping: USPS Priority between $8 (flip n ship mailer in a Legal Flat Rate Envelope) to $15 (Medium Priority Box) for raws. Don't be listy including the little one in my head. Returns: Raws; sure, just notify me within three days of receipt and get in back to me in the same shape on your dime. No returns on slabs. (Kudos thread linked under my avatar.)
  5. Looks like our gracious host has welcomed non-Golden age when it comes to art and other items, so here's some stuff I consider my collecting highlights added this past year:
  6. What’s the driver? D’spayre rumored now? Did I spell that right?
  7. I pulled last issue and holiday special as well, as I think they are tougher than the rest. But not sure if anyone will care.
  8. I have slot #70, so my strategy is to take Greggy’s mystery box at #70. Thank you. Merry Christmas all!
  9. Well, looks like I’ll be ranking the entire list, but on the bright side I’m in two-pick territory!
  10. Merry Christmas! I'm preparing what will be two back-to-back threads in Copper/Modern. Both will be long and meandering. The first will be more mainstream offerings, from keys to Best of 90's Drek, and the second will be a labor of love, a wide assortment of independents and obscurities (not necessarily big money stuff, though I guess some may surprise me as I price them, but mostly from what I can see just a bunch of oddball stuff that doesn't get offered around here very often.) Takers in the first thread are welcome to sit through the 2nd one before wrapping up, for combo shipping purposes, but I'll PM everyone at the end of the first as some may not be interested in the independents. Either way, it'll take a while. I'm pulling from 10 short boxes of material, three of which are independents. These are chunks of 2-3 collections I took in for fun (read and release, learn some new-to-me series, etc). At least two of the guys had multiples of some books too, so there will be multiple copies of certain books available. Just starting to shoot pix and wrap my head around it. Again, the threads will be long and sporadic too, as I have a lot going on right now, but I can also use the fun distraction of playing with funnybooks so I'm getting it started soon even though life is busy. Stay tuned!

  12. All in Color for a Dime Will Eisner’s Comics and Sequential Art
  13. Didn’t Dolgoff and the Koch brothers buy and split up the Robert Bell collection?
  14. Alright, I’m in again! Always planned to be, but I’ve been struggling with the offering so I’m in on the late side. In fact, I still am figuring out what all it’s going to be, but it’s in progress enough to post: it will be a Semi-Mystery Box! Semi-Mystery because I haven’t finished filling it yet, but I’ll ship this Medium Priority Box within U.S. or to Canada. Besides the as yet undetermined mystery contents, it will include as pictured a couple Christmas comics, a 4th print of Love is Love, the first appearance of Harry Potter in comics (a pay it forward re-gifting of a book generously shared with me by the great boardie @rob_react) and an EC #1, Aces High, in a very solid VG. I’ll also include the three autographs pictured, the Venom tattoos, and then fill the rest with more comics, comics, comics!

  16. They changed their headline on the website, and maybe OP could edit here as well to reflect? @Hey Kids, Comics! I have no problem believing a nice raw copy surfaced after years in a black hole and changed hands for 4.5, but there is no way from minute one that I ever believed it’s the MH. Any details we can get to confirm the actual book and the deal are of course interesting but if little more emerges that’s perfectly understandable on the part of both participants too.
