  1. These look good. Wouldn't it be cool if they could make a film with them all in it. A proper realistic one I mean...
  2. Heaven, I'm in heaven, and my heart beats so that I can hardly speak! For I think I find the happiness I seek. When I'm at a con with loads of lovely treats
  3. Apparently there were more guests but I couldn't find them. No signs you see. And the award for best Tardis Hat goes to... Oh. Someone else
  4. Poor Sid Wragg. He was in Star Wars and everything. Won the award for loneliest looking guest. Ahh.
  5. No idea who this was. Took a picture anyway. "Look, the people will come I tell you. Just give it time" "But I've been here three days!"
  6. Lots of famous people there. Here's one of them: Seen her in a thing or two. I managed to see Jenna Coleman, but alas, just as she was leaving And how unlucky was this. Nicola wasn't there, and Daniels was. A bad timing double whammy of doom. Try as I might, I never found our Nicola
  7. Oh, now that's nice. I do like Rachael. She adorns the walls in Marwood Towers you know. A pleasing rendition, wouldn't you say...?
  8. "Issa Massif" as Jar Jar might say if he were there and not a despised fictional creation.
  9. Jeptha Judge of Israel, would you look at that! Bat Calm restored.
  10. Now that's quite a good entrance exhibit isn't it. I really wanted to pull the Bat Lever but you weren't allowed to touch the Bat Instruments. That really got on my Bat Nerves I have to say and I went off in a Bat Sulk.
  11. It only seems like five minutes ago that I was at the MCM show in May and here we are again at another. I wasn't going to go to this but changed my mind on the morning, bought my ticket online and off I went. It took a grand total of 40 minutes to get there, door to door. I knew I was on the right train when I spotted these two at Willesden Junction: The first of many Doctors as it would turn out. Well, there are a few of him. And her I suppose I should say. Fez's are cool aren't they. A bit like bow ties in that respect.
  12. From the distinctly uncreative team that brought you the MCM Comic Con London 24-26 May 2019 board report we proudly present the board report
  13. Ha! Nice story Duff. Stickers eh... I spotted this one on the bay of E recently. Dirty great 3p sticker on it. Obviously an 'LM' 6d copy, as enough of the surrounding price box area was visible and you'd see 'Still Only...10c' were it a cents copy: I made an offer, which the seller countered too high. I said "I'd have bought it if it didn't have the sticker". So he accepted my original offer and said "Just use a hairdryer and it will come off". I had a go. The sticker did indeed come off! Left a mark / residue of course. But what did it reveal? Someone had inked out the 6d price You just can't win sometimes, can you
  14. Morning Fans of Aussie PeeVee's I've added a new title to the list - "Stryfe's Strike File" - yay! It's a one shot, which brings us up to 1,063 confirmed AUS copies across 94 titles. It's a bit of an odd one as it has no cover date - the GCD has this as a January 1993 book so, being an AUS first wave book, it's cover date would - if it had one - be April. No barcode image available - other US copies show that it is on the back cover. And there's the pencilled 'N5' which we now know the background on. All good fun
  15. Postman Pat, Postman Pat Postman Pat and his black and white cat. Early in the morning, just as day is dawning He delivers two Charlton upgrades and a book recommendation from Glassman Pete to Marwood Towers
  16. Ahhh, a post way back from page One Old AM#44 was hindered by a sticker. No such problem with new AM#44 though Atomic Mouse is in the house! And he has no sticker.
  17. Rag? Rag! More of a dishcloth I thought. Still, you wouldn't say no though, would you
  18. These lots often rocket at the last minute. As John Morlar might say, "We shall see..."
  19. Google says it's replacement building was built in 1973, so the date seems right. Ross must have used photos?
  20. I love a mystery Reg. I'm planning on digging out the Partners for Life book today from the vaults. Have a proper look. Maybe there'll be a clue in there...
