Ughhhhh!! Thank you Unca Ben for keeping the eagle eye on OA creeps.
-
ha ha ha!! I've been watching a page owned by the brothers for ten years and it goes up every time I inquire :-( I've learned to detest the word inquire by the way. Happy New Year!!!

I tell you Glen when you shine the light these cockroaches scurry to a new user id name. Thank you for watching out for this.To newer collectors please reach out for help before allowing yourself to be screwed over. ebay is awash with monsters. If it's too good to be true...
I really despise these scammers.

Oh wow Byrne Doom. That poor kid. Byrne's run was spectacular on FF especially when Doom was on the scene. This is a marvel-ous page.
CLINK just had a FF page from Byrne's run go down. It dealt with the debate about the scar on Doom's face being pronounced or psychological. No DOOM in costume but it went for a pretty penny. Byrne FF run on fire. Thanks Eelco for this major post!

Wow Brian Awesome! Another glowing page from the classic tale. Arguably the best Doom story ever.
-
A tremendous contribution to the Doom thread.
DD 37 a classic. This page is so Doomtastic.
Great art and a minor retell of FF 60. Drool worthy art!!!
-
Wally Wood cast a spell with his hypnotic efforts. I hope you land that page one day. As for Albert Moy can't deny the Doomsman splash. Moy has an excellent eye for the primo stuff.

Thank you for this one.
Gene Colan was awesome on everything.
His Doom was unique and powerful.
This is a marvelous page.

Great question! Please if your out there and have pics of Wally Wood D O O M post post post. I saw pages many many years ago at the SD Con. IF I'm not mistaken they were from a complete story.
-
A wonderful suggestion. So cool to see art that we all care about. So many great characters that need their own thread.

Brilian!
That Cockrum page is lights out.
" Am I not beautiful Lord Doom? And terrible? Do you not fear me? You should. you shall."
Wilson with a very nice assist from Marcos. This splash with Doom standing over the poor Silver Surfer would hang nicely on any OA collector's wall.
You all have made this thread incredible.
D O O M !!!!!

Wow Mark this is super kick-A. Is this one yours? Great take on The Leader of Latveria. This is one D O O M you do not want to mess with. Thank you for posting this one.
D O O M S D A Y !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Excellent observation. Doom is complex.Hatred is a major driver for his behavior. Then you look at the Mignola page submitted in this thread by Matches Malone. A tear shed by Doom. Like the subject box states D O O M is great!!!!!!

A DOOM by Dell'otto. Wow!! This artist has such a power behind the work. I love these sketch covers. I don't own any but I imagine I will get a few maybe at SDCC this year. Nino thank you for a very desirable contribution to our D O O M thread!!!

I dig this one with the colors.I think Doom brings out the best work of all artists.

Excellent Doom Cover (recreation) Dave Cockrum style made an impact on me during my youth. His work continues to impress me. As you say nothing beats "original" pages. I will however give the late great artist a standing O for this keen Doom X-Men classic.

Not so fast Book of Strange. I have to say this work by Jeff Lafferty is really well done. Very pleasing and clever the more you take it in. So glad you took the time to post this here. Thank you!
-
John-- Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! One of the best D O O M covers ever. So happy you added it here to a thread dedicated to why we think DR D O O M is G R E A T !!!!!!!!

Only Doom could call Subby " sea born scum " and get away with it.
Man that's just a mighty fine page.
Now DD 37 so glad to see a page out of that classic. No doubt one of the best silver age stories and art.Look at D O O M kicking poor DD while he's down.
Can't thank you enough for contributing these two beauties.

Thanks to J Sid we're feeling the B Y R N E !!!! That panel makes me woozy.

What a wonderful splash with D O O M and D D at battle once more. Thanks so much for posting this. I really think it's great.

Only Doom would make a demand of Mephisto on his Hellish Home Turf. This is a chilling dark beautiful page of art. I appreciate all your pics. I love seeing so many DOOM fans come to life here.

I wish I had saved them. A couple of them were verbal quotes at SD Con. Of course there is always confusion over which brother owns what piece. No prices on anything even at the Con. I don't think I've ever been able to see those two guys together in one place ha ha.
I just don't think "inquire" is the right way to go about it when you are a OA business. It come off as " oh, you are interested?" "Uhhh Make up a crazy high price for the sucker that wants it!!!"
Of course they can do as they like. Seems like stuff like this makes many people here on the boards none to happy.
It's a crazy thing we've gotten ourselves into this OA.
