  1. Here's mine. Bought it new. I remember thinking that 4.95 was a lot to pay for a new comic.
  2. I bought a Spider-Man from around '77 and inside was the original receipt from 7-11 when it was purchased. That's the most interesting thing I've gotten.
  3. PGM Batman 200 I got this around 1995. I paid $30 for it at the time and thought I overspent then. It was pre-internet and I just never saw that many, if any.
  4. I've had this one since the mid 80's. That crease drives me crazy. But it didn't stop me from having Doug Moench sign it around 1986.
  5. There's a lady where I work who looks like she was drawn by Don Martin.
  6. Annual #2 first American appearance of Psylocke
  7. #14 first Magik (not the first Illyana Rasputin)
  8. I was in the 2nd grade when this came out. I can remember not know what 'Society' meant or how to pronounce it. I have no idea how I talked my mom in to spending 50 cents on a funny book. This is not my original. That one is long gone. Got this image off of the internet.
  9. My favorites from the copper age have always been Adventure Comics 462 (death of the Earth 2 Batman) JLA 183 - 185 (JLA, JSA and New Gods plus Perez art) JLA 195 - 197 (JLA JSA and more Perez art) JLA 207 - 209 & All Star Squadron 14 - 15 (a 5 part JLA JSA & ALL Star Squardon time travel team up) Plus practically the entire All Star Squadron run.
  10. I always liked how Comics Interview took individual letters from existing logos.
  11. Can anyone ID the editor working with Trevor Von Eeden?
  12. Secret Origin: The Story of DC Comics. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1599373/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1
  13. There are 2 different World of Krypton minis. The 1979 mini was 3 issues and the 1987 mini was 4 issues. After Byrne took over Superman he wrote ( someone else drew) 3 "World of" mini series. World of Smallville, World of Metropolis and World of Krypton.
  14. I think it's the 4 issue mini from 87 by Byrne and Mignola. But I'm not positive.
  15. For some reason, the Silver Surfer ashcan goes for about 10 bucks.
  16. PGM Detective Comics 359 I got this on Ebay about 10 years ago. I know it's not the best copy out there.
  17. PGM: New Gods #1 Best I can remember, I got this sometime in the early '90s. Thanks.
  18. That is a mountain of information. Thank you. I guess it's not as unique as I thought.
  19. PGM - More Fun Comics 96 This is a head scratcher for me. It's in really good shape except for the fact that somebody took a 3 hole punch to it. I've had this since I purchased it from my LCS in the mid to late 80's. I think I paid $40 for it then.
  20. Gerry Conway was Gary Conway.
