That's one of those covers that makes you think Raboy stands out as one of the best comic book artist ever...or he worked way to hard on that one. Nice... Raboy was one of the best. This Flash Gordon example, not mine, is fantastic. If he had done Timely or DC work his name would be far better known and I'd have to spend far more on my collection.

No one can get scammed that doesn't think they're getting a 'GREAT deal'. You can get ripped off, buying say an AF 15 at a fair price that ends up being restoed. Or being the victim of a quick change artist. But every scam involves tricking the person into thinking they're getting something for nothing. From the old wallet drop scam to Nigerian scams-they ALL rely on this greed element. What about elderly people who are scammed out of money by people pretending to be nieces or nephews stranded overseas? Are they greedy?

I'm guessing your first was Leading Comics 11. I object, this is a Timely thread and that sounds like a Leading question! Yes, but is his Leading question Timely or late?

Great books. I always have to look at that Boy comic cover twice because at first glance I always go, "Wha? The moon?"

Wow! That is truly esoteric. Many of those have to be impossible to find.

Go look for mid-grade Disney books by Barks! For the money, its great entertainment. Oh yeah, and go buy the Gerber photojournals. They will break your heart when you find books you must have and then find out that everybody else must have them too!

The Disney books have such a timeless, classic look They really do! And one thing you can tell about most old Disney comics: all of their previous owners loved them to pieces!

This is just such an awesome cover. Can you imagine its popularity if it had Captain America, Superman, or, for that matter, Archie on it? At least this way there is a small chance I could find and afford a copy.
