  1. Super cool. Dibs on that one! This one I have never seen a copy before.
  2. This is one of my favorite MMC covers. I'm not sure what run I'm going after once I complete my All Select run but the MMC war covers are so Nice book, Marty!
  3. Very nice! Love the date stamp!
  4. Looks really good Kav. You got some talent, Kav.
  5. Cap 27....... nice. Now THAT'S a cornerstone piece. GOD BLESS... -jimbo(a friend of jesus) (thumbs u Thanks Jim it's the center piece Those five look great together Great #27! And the rest ain't bad neither!
  6. Well thats all there is.... a group of whiny comic sellers that didn't like the fact i complained and put out a certain seller. when the transaction was said and done i left him a positive feedback. There is nothing valid in there BS.... you posted the link yourself, it's simple banter going back and fourth. In a "Perfect world" no one would ever have to deal with a complaining costumer or any bad person, but in reality this is the real world and it's 2015.. people are allowed to complain about something not being shipped properly or in a timely manner. i literally just complained to BBB, FTC, and state of florida over a shirt that was sent out VERY late... long story short i was right and was awarded a refund. in the case of the whiners here on these boards i never actually did have any transaction with any of them. so where do they get off putting my name on here? hopefully a mod sees this and we can get some sort of warning, reprimand or something towards them. I'm just curious..I doubt if I will ever list anything on eBay that you would care about...do you not see how crazy it is to post this about your self? I won't even address the WHY of complaining to the state of florida over a late t-shirt? My god man...what would you have done if it had been lost in the mail?
  7. Thanks for your kind remarks...I truly enjoy going through my collection and sharing both the scans of them plus the memories that occur while looking at them again. mm I love the pictures but its the memories you share that make this thread extra special to me. Keep it up, Marty! As I've said before, I don't comment on every post but I'm out here enjoying your company as I'm sure many, many others are as well.
  8. I've only bought one PGX book and it came back from CGC as restored.
  9. That is awesome, Bill - on big books like that, it's exactly the type of copy that I'd like to own. Ditto!
  10. If I'm reading the HERITAGE AUCTION results correctly, the SUPERBOY #1 sold for $1,792.50...and, the SHOCK SUSPENSTORIES #6 sold for $1,015.75. mm That has got to be exciting for you! I just got an Amazing Spider-Man #238 back from CGC and it graded a 9.4. Its special, to me, because it is one of the few books I kept through the years that I bought off the newsstand. I was thrilled to get it back but I can't imagine what it would be like to get Superboy #1.
  11. Congratulations on the grades for both books!
  12. Oh no, another competitor :-). It's funny, after many years of hunting down the rarest, most beautiful Disney comics, a considerable fraction of my want list consists of inconspicuous, mid-run issues that you'd never guess would be so hard to find.
  13. This is my favorite of your run. Its just striking and knowing that it is the second(?) appearance of the red skull makes it even dreamier!
  14. I would love to find a #1 in 2.0 or even a qualified one like your #2. Of course, I would have to have the money at that moment also but then that is why it is a dream. Very nice books!
  15. Thank you. Its interesting how books with huge print runs, over a million copies? , can be so scarce in high-grade. There are at least 12 copies on eBay, right now, and the highest grade might be a fn/vf. Now I just need to find a 9.2 or higher Donald Duck #26.
  16. Thanks guys. I really lucked into this copy; sometimes the dice just go your way.
