Rob said on Twitter that Deadpool #10 is actually Major X's first appearance.

People on Facebook are saying Liefeld is only referring to the Deadpool #10 variants he is selling on his website for $100 are the first cover appearance of Major X but it doesn't mean the  standard Deadpool #10 is the first appearance of the character. Nothing but pandemonium and Liefeld bashing after that.

    Grim knight getting some props..

Which cover will be worth the most?

pretty sure a few covers aren’t shown in the link.

Personally, I like the Philip Tan Homage cover followed by the Kirkham (not shown on that page) ,Anacleto, Louw,Parrillo & Mayhew respectively. They all seem to be selling for around the same price range depending if its the trade dress cover. One Kirkham virgin cover sold for $85. Everything else is in the $20-$40 range for single covers on ebay.

Agreed, but I bet that every Valiant seller wanted to see Aug002 bidding on their auctions during the early 00s. I could never figure out if he was trying to corner the market on Valiants or looking to drive up other bidders on all auctions to unload books via another account.

I outbid him one time for a raw Wizard X-O Manowar 1/2 Gold and instantly regretted it. Aug002's sniping method involved putting an insanely large bid to overcome other snipers. I had done the same for a couple of auctions and ended up winning items by $1. This time it backfired. I ended paying $450 for a X-O 1/2 Gold. Aug002's bid was $400. They were selling for around $25 at the time.  Luckily, I ended up selling it for what I paid for it a few weeks later.

Yep, I haven't read that one yet.

Crazy how times have changed.  It used to take months/years for people to recognize a book.  Now it's as the book is coming out or in anticipation.

I do have to acknowledge that it's pretty situational even today.  Immortal Hulk was pretty low-key until the recent monster explosion.

Brush fire to an inferno. Resetting Hulk to the Man or Monster mythos was the smartest thing Marvel writers could have done. What Ewing is doing with Immortal Hulk and what Donny Cates is doing with Venom makes for some great reading and something to look forward to each month. It's also making collectors look for back issues like Hulk #15 & #16 and Venom 2018 #9(also heating up) for minor key first appearances.
