  1. playing devils advocate, but although perhaps a bit orthodox on these boards, and I probably wouldn't do it, but i see no reason why he can't offer up a public bid
  2. well duh! At least something new and updated will be posted unlike that guy that runs bedrockcity
  3. throw enough poop on the wall and hope some of it sticks anyway, i say let him post it here since theres hardly anything good GA related that gets posted here lately
  4. this is exactly the kinda $%$&$ people buy when they have too much $$
  5. wow! I don't collect moderns, but that wolverine looking EC comic is badass
  6. I'm sorry, I simply love GA and have since boyhood, but no, just no
  7. who would even agree to submit books knowing they may be there for a year and a half or more
  8. of course it's shills. Stop using crappy ebay. Not to say all other auctions sites dont have this problem, but just easier on ebay to pull this garbage
  9. Whew!! Glad i missed this You May Need To Beat Off 3 Others For This…
  10. who needs a shipping kit? Bubble wrap and cut up some cardboard and maybe box inside a box to reassure. Kit? we don't need no stinkin' kit
  11. IMO comic values are here to stay...maybe a bit of leveling out is in order, but I didn't grow up in the 30, 40's and 50's, but yet I still go gaga over the books from that era. Sadly though, I think investor's have seen the potential in these once in a lifetime gems and I firmly believe they are not going away anytime soon which I understand will make it tougher to collect for the average Joe. Guess ya'll better load up on Fawcetts and Western photo books
  12. never understood the desire for NFT's nor do I want to. I have adult children who have no problem with dropping hundreds to low thousands for non tangible assets, but then again I'm an early 50's old fart I guess. What a weirdass world we live in. And dont get me started on real estate values in the metaverse
  13. thought that was considered "pebbling or pebbing" something like that and YES! Teflon will get u called out 90% of the time
  14. i dunno. i had walkthough and fast track checked in same day. Probably nothing to get too concerned about.....yet
  15. yep! Been saying this all along and they are all guilty of it. Opening a parcel is disappointing once you see how dark and dull it is compared to being under the radiation lamp of HA ,CC and CL
  16. off topic slightly, but i've had nothing but good experiences from MCS and to my possible detriment, i feel they under grade to a fault and i could post a few examples but i wont
  17. I can deal with a minor unobtrusive scuff or scratch, but beyond that, it would bother me as like most here, I doubt I'd be cracking out a book unless I had intentions of resubmitting, hence any scuff or obvious scratch should be noted. Nobody likes a surprise unless it jumps outta cakes
  18. So as far as comic dealers goes, its safe to rule out Joe Nacca and Richard Muchin??
  19. Like any good conspiracy, someone out there knows the whole truth about how this whole collection sprung up. The first round of grading on these books got my panties in a wad primarily due to the fact that they were wayyy over graded, but that's the extent of my concern because I have no dog in this fight and no desire to pay a premium from this so called pedigree collection
  20. yea, but that pineapple drink and the crystal palace buffet? C'mon man
