Hiya, folks; As the saying goes, all good things must come to an end, including my consignments of Aparo Brave and the Bold #170 pages. The climactic last page from this issue ends this Sunday, May 26th on Heritage. Recently, pages with good Batman content have sold for around $500, which is definitely a good deal for the winners. Page #25 is currently $110 so its still very affordable, and as with previous pages, it has excellent content. Here's the direct link to the auction: https://comics.ha.com/itm/original-comic-art/jim-aparo-brave-and-the-bold-81-story-page-25-batman-and-nemesis-original-art-dc-1981-/a/121921-17008.s?ic4=GalleryView-Thumbnail-071515 And an image of the page, courtesy of Heritage:

HI, all; I've decided to part with some more Romita Sr. ASM CGC Signature books from my personal collection on Comiclink. NONE of the books have been pressed so there's a good opportunity these books can get a jump in grade through a press. The auctions end May 28th - May 30th. Most of the books are Silver Age, with a few Bronze Age beauties included for good measure. First up is ASM #39 in 9.2. Here's the direct link to the CGC auction: http://comiclink.com/auctions/item.asp?back=%2FAUCTIONS%2FSEARCH.ASP%3FFocusedOnly%3D1%26where%3Dauctions%26title%3Dromita%2Bsignature%26GO%3DGO%26ItemType%3DCB%23Item_1317365&id=1317365&itemType=0 And here's the scan of the comic:

Just a few more days to go before the live bidding begins and thus far I’ve been unsuccessful in narrowing down my interests to less than 20 lots. not to sound morbid or anything, but I’ve started to shift my focus back to comics, and specifically to books where I can get a lot of sigs from creators who are still with us. There are still a few artists who occasionally appear at shows or make themselves available for private signings who have worked in comics since the 50’s who may not be with us much longer 🙁

Hi, all; Down to the last few pages for sale from this issue. The auction ends tonight and bidding is currently at $150 so this page is still very, very affordable. Hi, folks; Last week, I consigned a nice Aparo page with Batman and Nemesis on Heritage and winning bidder really scored a great deal so for all of the folks that think 'there are no deals to be had on _fill in the blank_ auction site', think again! This page had Batman in 4 panels, Nemesis in 2 panels and sold for a paltry $360 This week, I have another Aparo page from Brave and the Bold #170 featuring Batman and Nemesis on Heritage. The page ends this Sunday and here's the direct link to the page at auction, which is currently at $110 so somebody's could end up with another deal here: https://comics.ha.com/itm/original-comic-art/jim-aparo-brave-and-the-bold-170-story-page-22-original-art-dc-1981-/a/121918-11004.s?ic4=GalleryView-Thumbnail-071515

The only person who can answer this is you. Do your friends have the EXACT same interest in OA as you? do they have the EXACT same expeirence collecting OA, same contacts, same ability to pay?
-
Yeah, and your underlying premise is flawed. The true value of art is what someone is willing to pay for it. Period.

Have to disagree with you on knowing within 10% the value of ASM 129 in NM. For example, raw or slabbed? Big difference in price White pages or off-white pages? Significant difference nicely centred spine or off centred? Could be significant difference colour brightness? Yep, difference in price sharpness of corners? Price difference date stamp? Price difference now factor in some Or all combinations thereof...and it’s not as predictable as you think.

HI, all; I'd like to thank everyone who ordered art from me during my CAF under $1000 sale. Those items have been removed from my CAF and I've moved onto Phase 2 of my CAF sale: artwork > $1000 I've started off with some good pieces, and many more will soon follow by a variety of artists. Time payments should be fine and I'm certain we can work something out so please take a look https://www.comicartfans.com/galleryroom.asp?gsub=2881
