  1. HIya, folks: I've consigned some more great pages to Heritage, and all auctions end Wednesday, February 14th. Here's a brief summary and direct link to the pages at auction: Brett Booth and Adelso Corona Gunslinger Spawn #17 Story Page 16 Original Art (Image, 2023). Splashy page where Gunslinger resorts to taking his enemies' wings to escape the unceasing angels. Link: Brett Booth and Adelso Corona Gunslinger Spawn #17 Story Page 16 | Lot #47031 | Heritage Auctions Dan Jurgens and Jesse Delperdang Metamorpho: Year One #1 Story Page 6 Original Art (DC, 2007). Rex Mason, aided by Neanderthal Java, unveils Queen Isabella's riches on 'Treasure Quest' for a live TV audience on this page from Metamorpho's origin story. Link: Dan Jurgens and Jesse Delperdang Metamorpho: Year One #1 Story Page | Lot #47124 | Heritage Auctions (ha.com) Dan Jurgens and Norm Rapmund Booster Gold #5 Story Page 10 Original Art (DC, 2008). Rip and Rex Hunter are featured on this confrontational page by writer Geoff Johns and Booster Gold creator/artist, Dan Jurgens. Dan Lawlis and Ricardo Villagran Clive Barker's Night Breed #16 Story Page 8 Original Art (Marvel, 1992). Twice-up page, where Monsters are born out of mob mentality in this page, from a story co-written by Clive Barker himself. Link: Dan Lawlis and Ricardo Villagran Clive Barker's Night Breed #16 | Lot #47132 | Heritage Auctions (ha.com) Tom Raney and Scott Hanna Ultimate X-Men #67 Story Page 9 Original Art (Marvel, 2006). Colossus and Nightcrawler decide to get dinner after visiting the injured Dazzler in the hospital. Nightcrawler looks a little hesitant to accept his teammate's proposal due to his discomfort with the steel-skinned mutant being gay. Tom Raney and Scott Hanna Ultimate X-Men #67 Story Page 9 Original | Lot #47210 | Heritage Auctions Jim Starlin Hardcore Station #4 Splash Page 5 Original Art (DC, 1998). Synnar is warned about interference from Hardcore Station's Chief Max and decides to handle the meddling chief himself on this page of cosmic drama. Jim Starlin Hardcore Station #4 Splash Page 5 Original Art (DC, | Lot #47228 | Heritage Auctions Jim Starlin and Al Milgrom Mystery in Space #3 The Weird Story Page 8 Original Art (DC, 2007). Incredible page layout and panel sequencing reminiscent of similar high-quality pages from the 1970's! Frozen in a trance state during spiritual awakening, the Weird loses control of his intangibility and falls through the floor leaving behind a disgruntled Deacon Dar. The Weird was birthed and banished in the late '80s by Jim Starlin and brought back from the comic afterlife for captivating backup tales in DC's revived Mystery in Space series. After accepting Synnar's offer to join his Aberrant Six, Starman (Prince Gavyn) emerges with a new costume and power upgrade and renames himself Fusion. Adam Strange, the Weird, Comet, and Eye are left stunned by the event in the background on this page of DC cosmic lore from the drafting hand of Jim Starlin. 2. One of my favs. The close-up of Hobby's face in the background really adds to his overall 'creep' factor.
  3. The Sal Buscema art from this era hurts my eyes 🤦‍♂️
  4. The number of sold OA lots for the past several HA Signature OA auctions: Jan 2024 = 644 Nov 2023 = 639 Sep 2023 = 624 Jun 2023 = 819 Mar 2023 = 774 Jan 2023 = 590 Nov 2022 = 780 Sep 2022 = 830 Jun 2022 = 624
  5. 925 lots? I think that’s the sum total of all items in this auction: comics, books, Mags, OA, etc. Presently, there are ‘only’ 478 OA lots listed.
  6. Great stuff! The Spec Spidey 85 is a pretty important book in the Hobgoblin mythos and is under appreciated
  7. Right! I think the Human Fly was another one. Thongor and Brak the Barbarian were two of the lesser known licensed characters Marvel used in the early 70’s. I was also thinking we should add the Evel Knievel one-shot comic (1974)
  8. Star Trek and Battlestar Galactica weren’t mentioned because they were published after Godzilla #1
  9. Just a quick reminder that all of these auctions end tonight, beginning shortly after 7PM Eastern (New York) time, with the Starlin pieces ending closer to 9PM. Thanks for looking, and good luck to all bidders
