  1. Like I said, I don’t really want to explain it. I’m done with this subject. next!
  2. Clearly someone who must have the last word at all cost.
  3. I really, really, really don’t want to have to go through the explanations again so yes, I will concede it’s not his first appearance nor is it a great cover. HOWEVER, ASM 1 contains many firsts, and it’s also the number 1 issue of the most collected series in the history of comics. It is certainly superior to, and should be worth more than several key books currently ahead of it.
  4. What can I say? When you're wrong, you're really wrong! There are far too many incorrect assumptions in your retort that I can't be bothered to respond in full.
  5. Rubbish! The current prices are bringing black hole collection pieces onto the market that wouldn't otherwise be available for years to come. If you've been seeking your personal holy grail of OA for 10, 20 or more years, you buy it when the piece becomes available. Period. No speculation involved.
  6. Thanks for compiling the list. The information shows me that ASM 1 in top grade is incredibly undervalued in comparison to its peers.
  7. Its really difficult to compare which to choose, because: 1. Pics of the same book are different sizes and different clarity 2. No back cover pics Thus, I don't think its a fair playing field to make choose which books I'd rather have so I abstain.
  8. Hi, all: I've consigned this awesome Williamson Corrigan original strip art to Heritage. I don't know who wrote the listing description, but they haven't a clue as to what they are selling so let me fill in the gaps. This strip contains Corrigan leaping into action, trying to stop Dr. Seven's giant robot, while the diabolical Dr. Seven (and hitman Joe Ice) holds the lovely Dr. Karla Kopak in bondage. Exactly the type of action, suspense, and cliffhanger last panel one would seek out with a keen eye and nostalgic appeal for the old movie serials of the 1930's and 40's. Here's a direct link to the strip at auction: Al Williamson Secret Agent Corrigan Daily Comic Strip Original Art | Lot #48203 | Heritage Auctions (ha.com) Thanks for looking
  9. Umm, not a chance that it will go that low
  10. I realize the market is very volatile at the moment, but I’m curious as to what folks think the McSpidey 16 cover will go for?
  11. Same as the Perez fans complaining something was too busy 😂
  12. Just keep in mind the 328 cover sold at HA back in 2012, and 10 years is a long time in this hobby.
  13. I know there was a fella trying to put the complete interiors together, and he had several pages already accumulated by the time the 328 cover sold at auction. Wonder if he pulled the trigger on a private deal with Metropolis?
  14. Whatever happened to the 328 cover after it sold publicly? I thought it was with Metropolis...and then it wasn't?
  15. HA has uploaded the image of the McSpidey cover.
  16. Hi, all: it’s been a few years so I thought I’d ask again. looking for Keown Hulk covers from his initial run on the title. I will pay a finders fee of $5K for information leading to the purchase of a cover, and I will will a $10K finders fee for info leading towards the purchase of Hulk 376 cover. please DM me with any communication
  17. Calvin and Hobbes > Barnaby > Garfield > Peanuts
  18. It will be interesting to see if the McSpidey pages will come close to the recent prices realized for Jim Lee Xmen pages and splashes.
  19. Already shaping up to be another stellar auction, with the following items included thus far: Kane/Robinson Detective 59 cover McFarlane Spiderman 16 cover, splash, and several interior pages Mignola Batman 428 cover (death of Robin) Kirby/Romita Thor 170 unused cover
  20. If anything, this past weeks’ HA auction clearly demonstrates they need to add one more Signature auction per year to their schedule. with an over abundance of material this past auction, 6 Signature Auctions per year would help to alleviate the volume we’ve seen recently.
  21. But which piece did you want more? The one on clink or HA?
