Would be interesting if it ended at $55K+. as far as I can tell, the current high for a Buscema Conan cover is $31K.

Switching gears a bit, I think ASM 31 still has a long way to go before achieving its potential. You can still get a nice 8.0 for under $3K. thoughts?

Context matters… We’re those slabbed books copper or bronze or silver age books? if so, were they in 9.4-9.8?

I don’t think so. Folks said the same thing about Zombie punisher and even that didn’t kill the demand for ASM 129

Interesting to hear about your success with mid-grades McSpidey and McHulk books. Regarding McTales books, his run of covers on this title is more difficult to obtain than folks suspect and perhaps prices will reflect this soon.

Perhaps, but I think the $4.5K sale is an outlier. The true FMV of this book is $5.3-$5.5K for blue, white pages.

Yeah, crazy run-up, and even at $4.5K, ASM 300 is selling at nearly 2.5x pre-Covid prices

I don’t watch 121/122, but 129 recently set record highs for 9.4, 9.6, and 9.8. 194 is holding or showing slight gains in higher grades. 238 is still 30% below its 2021 high, with no recovery in sight. 252 did drop quite a bit, but has recovered to near 2021 highs

To, me, most of the key ASM’s are holding steady or increasing (exception = ASM 300). I don’t really keep track of too many non ASM books, but the ones I do are also on the increase, after a previous 20% drop.
