Okay. last one for this thread (which should now be renamed the Comcav Invitational). Not too often that you can find a nicely presenting Cap for less than an arm and a leg, but the back cover damage brings the grade down. Just look at the front cover and don't turn it over and you will be happy with this book.

Oh man, sorry to hear about that. In addition to what you already know about the seller, he is also known to “work” on his books. He used to point it out to me and was actually pretty good at it.
Funny, that even that the locals know about him, they are still buying his books...
They still buy his books because he prices them cheap (because most are stolen anyways
) Flippers dream come true.. Outdated overstreet and doesn't use the internet to follow current FMV.
Luckily I don't think he touched the Larson but I could be wrong. Larson's are known to have minor resto on some. Either way, I'm sending it off to get the tear sear removed

Just tried your settings and I got the same glare in the same spot. I am beginning to think that it is the slab.
Thanks though... I appreciate the time and effort.
I'm thinking it's because of the older style inner well. I've had the same issue in the past with a couple of them.

I'll be sending this into a third party for resto removal. Sigh.

Cherry pick your collection for keys and send them in to get graded. Maximize your profits.
The runs, I would break them into lots and put on Ebay. Anything after copper, dump to a LCS or dealer if possible. Just my opinion.

Thanks! Appreciate you working with me.
I obviously don't have it in hand yet, but it looks to be a really great copy. There's pre-chipping along most of the right edge, but with a white cover it really doesn't detract from the overall appeal. The whiteness of the cover is really astounding.
It really is a clean book. White pages is the icing on the cake

Would be cool if someone went back now to the drug store and took a selfie with their raw Larson.
