  1. I like the way she looks here. The movie "Career Opportunities" comes to mind.
  2. You have a book inside the "new" CGC case they were trying to use last year. The book is placed between 2 sheets of mylar then encapsulated. Unfortunately this slab process didn't work and the books moved in between the 2 plastic sheets causing waviness. Send it back in to be re-encapsulated.
  3. take a few photos of the books and post them. From the photos members on this board/ forum can tell you if the books you have are worth putting some time and effort into doing what you need to do to sell them effectively via online sources. "Vintage" can mean so many different eras but to me it isn't books from 1985 even though those books are over 30 years old.
  4. 11x17" Wonder Woman in black and white, going to be coloring it.
  5. Latest drawing I have done, 11x17", and I will likely color it in the near future. As the above poster mentioned, everyone is probably drawing Wonder Woman. Yup.
  6. I used to. You almost bought it. I have sold it.
  7. Have any other pics of it? Would love to see what the rest of the display rack looks like.
  8. I have one Toldeo in my collection that was cracked from a broken slab. Still have the label in the back of the mylar:
  9. Gator doesn't collect covers with Crocodiles! Lovely book.
  10. I cast a vote for Kevin Costner in Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves as the worst accent. At first he tried an English accent, that by the middle of the film had completely been tossed in favor of his regular drawl.
  11. The movie was ok to me, but it goes way downhill after the helicopter crash. After that, I feel the Suicide Squad has absolutely no urgency in completing their mission, and casually walk for blocks. I am also discovering how much I hate filler: filler of the team fighting grapehead "who-cares" enemy soldiers. I bought the DVD and tried to re-watch it, I didn't make it through the film and turned it off before the final battle. The highlight for me is watching Margot Robbie walk in that over revealing outfit. My goodness the woman is a goddess. I actually liked Leto as the Joker, but I hated they way they decided he should look. Those teeth, ugh!
  12. yes but not a good measure of how I rate the film. I wouldn't give the Amazing Spiderman 2 a 1 out of 10.
  13. The Amazing Spider-man 2 has a 65% viewer rating, and it is horrendous. I couldn't wait to leave and should have walked out. Reviews are of little value to me.
  14. I found my stand alone rack at a local comic show from another seller. He had it in his booth using it to showcase books. It caught my eye, he asked what book has caught my eye, I said the rack. We negotiated a price, he said he wouldn't let it go for less than $500.00 in trade. I said SOLD! He came to my booth and was starting to look at my wall books, I directed his attention to a long box I had on my table that I had a sign on of $2-$5 each. It was a bunch of books that are worth $5 max in guide that had been to many shows that I couldn't sell and I told him I would give him the entire box. It is a case of "know your customer", the guy is always looking for deals, and he at the time didn't have a job. His job was going door to door selling comics. I knew he would see the value of the junk and would probably take it. He browsed the box, told me the box was worth more than $500, are you sure? I said yes. Done deal. I feel like the rack cost me nothing, and it is in beautiful shape.
  15. I wish I could figure out a way to make my spinner spin better but for an economical investment. I have looked into a bearing system but what I can find locally is a hundred dollars.
