  1. Yep, very very impressive sale. It's the first time I've seen a 9.4 sell for over $20K in the four years I've owned mine.
  2. Yep, like a $13K bargain lol. I will never understand how that happened.
  3. All Flash Quarterly Comics Any All Flash Quarterly collectors out there? I only have my number 1, but definitely a big fan of this book! would love to see what's out there.
  4. Wow, another crazy sale. This is the same 9.4 that just sold in a previous auction for I believe $19,200 a month or so ago. It almost immediately goes back up for sale and boom, already over $20K and with a couple days left!!! http://www.comicconnect.com/bookDetail.php?id=645896. DD1's seem to be climbing. And this copy has a date stamp.
  5. I agree, I wouldn't call Snyder's films a trail of duds. I rather enjoyed all of his films, except for maybe Sucker Punch. I'm not saying they are great movies, but at the least they have fun action and are cinematically beautiful. The main gripe I believe is tonally they are too dark. I mean I guess, but it doesn't bother me haha.
  6. I mean, Avengers 2: AOU wasn't that bad. At the end of the day, it was a solid film. I think when you try not to make it live up to the expectations of #1 you realize it was enjoyable with solid action and the good old Avengers we know and love. Shield on the other hand I agree.
  7. I wonder if it was a pressed 9.6 that got bumped. Regardless, gorgeous copy!!!
  8. Where did a 9.4 sell for $26K? Is that just a sale you saw on GPA, but it doesn't say how it sold?
  9. Yeah I agree. I've never seen a 9.4 sell for over $19K. I knew that 9.6 that sold for $23,750 at auction recently was a fluke. Seriously whoever bought that just somehow made out with a book they could resell for over $30K easy.
  10. Wow, CGC 9.4 just sold for $19,200, and this copy had a date stamp on the cover and off-white pages. That's crazy!! http://www.comicconnect.com/bookDetail.php?id=645896
  11. Wow, that's awesome man!! Jimmy Olsen #134 in 9.8 is a big big score!!! That put's my 9.4 to shame big time!!
  12. Take a look at the DD 1 CGC 9.6. Sold for $23,750. Hella low for that book, like $10K-$14K low!! I thought the ASM #1 was about right actually, but maybe I'm wrong. What are recent sales on a 9.0 ASM 1?
  13. Hells yeah! I'd be one insanely happy buyer!! Get ready to flip it for $10K once Season 3 of DD and Defenders come out on Netflix.
  14. What the hell! $23,750 for an off-white to white page CGC 9.6 copy???!!! Recent sales have been as high as $36K-$38K. Is this an abberation or has DD 1 somehow found a way to drop upwards of $14K in price???!!! Or is it comiclink? I just feel like sometimes books on there do not reach their true potential value when compared to sales on Comicconnect and Heritage, but maybe I'm wrong. Ive always felt that since Comiclink does not provide an image of the back cover of books they auction off that there's a huge potential for a loss in sales. Me personally, if I'm going to spend many thousands on a book, I'd like to see both sides, but who knows. Clearly, other people don't have that issue when an AF 15 CBCS 9.0 is selling for $240K. http://www.comiclink.com/auctions/item.asp?back=%2FAuctions%2Fdefault.asp%3F_SORT%3DYES%26Focused%3D1%26ItemType%3D0%26ODire2%3DASC%26f1%3Da.MaxBid%26ODire1%3DDESC%26f2%3Di.Title%2C%2Bi.IssueNumber%26f3%3Da.MaxBid%26ODire3%3DDESC%26x%3D25%26y%3D19%26pg%3D21%23Item_1164120&id=1164120
  15. No I agree 100%! That's the only reason I can imagine it's currently going for soo much. It is an exceptionally well presenting 9.0, and on top of that white pages! The John Fantucchio copy has white pages as well, but I feel like it presents for it's grade of 8.5.
  16. No the 9.0 is just a random copy. There's an 8.5 on the auction which is the John Fantucchio copy as seen here: http://www.comiclink.com/auctions/item.asp?back=%2FAuctions%2Fsearch.asp%3FFocusedOnly%3D1%26where%3Dauctions%26title%3Damazing%2Bspiderman%2B28%26ItemType%3DCB%23Item_1159369&id=1159369
  17. What the hell? When did a 9.0 start to sell for over $4K? I can only imagine it's because of the white pages and the fact it presents nicer. Maybe bidders feel CGC got this one wrong, but can't see back cover so tough to know. It looks like a 9.2, but maybe there's tanning on the back cover. Either way, I've never seen a 9.0 sell for this much, with time left to go. http://www.comiclink.com/auctions/item.asp?back=%2FAuctions%2Fsearch.asp%3FFocusedOnly%3D1%26where%3Dauctions%26title%3Damazing%2Bspiderman%2B28%26ItemType%3DCB%23Item_1159750&id=1159750
  18. It looks like the C-Link copy with white pages was taken down before the auction started for some reason. Maybe the seller didn't want to compete with the 9.6 and the soon to be selling 9.4 on comicconnect. It's too bad. I would have loved to see what that copy would sell for.
