Good point, Brian, I agree. 'Graphic Novel' sounds like an attempt on behalf of the writer to make plain old comic-booky stuff seem more respectable. Just tell it like it is without all the phony BS.

X-Men 1 was offered as a complete book of art some years back. No idea if it sold complete, but has definitely now been broken-up.

Savage Sword of Conan debuted in 1974. Savage Tales, from 1971 onwards, might be worth a look if you think it's Conan..
