  2. I recently acquired a missing page from a storyline I've been trying to put back together for some years now. Posted a request on one of the FB groups I'm a member of and, bang, someone had a page he was willing to release to me! Gotta be imaginative and cover all bases in your hunt . . .
  3. The way they're matted looks a little peculiar (no uniformity of border surrounds). Ready made frames?
  4. New in . . . Arnaldo Putzu's movie poster painting for the gritty 1972 British crime thriller, SITTING TARGET (known in the USA as SCREAMING TARGET). Full write-up, larger image and additional pictures at: http://www.comicartfans.com/gallerypiece.asp?piece=1489129
  5. Prop Store (UK) recently held a Movie Poster auction that offered a healthy selection of original paintings in the overall mix, so it seems like an appropriate auction grouping to me. Illustration art? Yeah, I could see that working for movie stuff, too. Comic auction? I see no connection there. As for your last question . . . collecting passions are not too dissimilar, I would imagine. As with comic-book artists, the movie stuff has its own hierarchy of notable talents. Look at the separate thread on Drew Struzan art to see where prices can go for the top talents . . . and I imagine the same applies to MTG and the kind of game artworks Bronty is promoting.
  6. Wolverine should get himself a striped sweatshirt!
  7. At those prices I'll have to settle for the Original Art Catalog . . . Maybe it wasn't such a good idea after all to ask for the services of Steve Donnelly as an art rep?
  8. Seem to recall there being two versions of the Fantasy Masterpieces 4 cover. One with just the central drawing . . . and another being a mechanical, or something?
  9. If they're trying to recall Mrs A it ought to let the OP know future demand for that drawing is going to be high . . .
  10. Oh, I don't really take it personally . . . all mock outrage on my behalf!
  11. Personally, I'd keep ahold of Mrs A. She'll soon be elevated to the kind of cult status of something like, 'Patience is a Virue', the stuff of legends. Iron Man drawings? Nah, anyone can get one of those . . .
  12. What happens if he likes it and wants a meet-up???
  13. I signed up . . . now I find myself arguing with a French guy who wants to act as an art critic on the stuff I'm posting . . .
  14. I think there's definitely a growing market for these type of characters. How about Aunt May as Thor?
  15. She needs her own monthly title!
  16. Cheapest Baga I bought was 'Marshmist Titan', directly from the artist. Paid Euro 400 for it.
