    cool. we waited too long to get a pumpkin and decided to skip it this year as the pickings were slim at the stores. we may get stuck with a lot of candy if the weather continues to suck.

    People still send paper checks via snail mail? Was that part of the terms of the sale to avoid some fee? Cancelling the check costs what, like $30? I'd be irritated about doing that more than not getting a book.

    I have been painting every day for a few weeks (before that I dabbled a few times a year... Below are a couple I posted a while ago), but the abstracts don't necessarily move the ball forward for some of these technical skills even if they come out looking cool

    That's the challenge! I know I could do better with oils or acrylics where I can adjust and correct more, build texture, etc. Anyway, as stated I was inspired by some of the WC done by George Pratt and Joe Rubinstein (who is a better painter than illustrater)..

    I need to take a break from mr. Joker. Maybe do a sketch first. Free hand painting a face from scratch with WC is prone to peril.
