  1. I'd say 6 as well, maybe 6.5 if you cleaned up the soiling along the edge of the back. Nice book, I'd take it in my collection any day :-)
  2. I'm certainly no expert on the higher end, but 9.4? I see some spine ticks evident on the back cover and some very light soiling. I also see what appears to be a scratch or abrasion on DDs head, but that might be a picture remnant.
  3. Without the staining 7.5 is a possibility, but it's pretty significant. I'd guess 5.0.
  4. 4.5 or 5 to me, great book. It could use a press and a cleaning, but be cautious of any further "restoration".
  5. Thanks for all of the replies. I'm going with a 7.5 for my records.
  6. PGM GS Defenders 3 - need help! I need some help with this one, it has a few unique qualities: Square binding Cover is mis-cut Tiny pinholes at the bottom of the cover The book is in generally nice shape, but I honestly don't know how to grade this thing with this particular set of irregularities, so any help is appreciated.
  7. Here's the story on this book. The listing said it was a "VF", but the pictures made it appear to be more like a 6.5/7. When the book arrived I was pleasantly surprised by how nice it shows. My personal grade was 7.5, but I'm wondering if I need to dial that back to a 7.0 based on some of the comments. More are appreciated.
  8. 3.0 at best. The tape pulls and the condition of the back really drop it imho.
  9. I agree with 9.2. Clearly nicer than mine that I posted a week or two ago.
  10. I'd say the after is a 4.5, and the before was a 3.5/4.0. It looks like the back would benefit from the wonder bread treatment
  11. This looked nicer than 8.5 from the photos. Did you get the graders notes? Thanks for posting all of these
  12. Wow, I was thinking 9.0 since the back looks a bit tanned. I will blame the lighting Nice book!
  13. The lighting on the last two pics isn't great sorry. It makes the back look dirtier than it is and the pages look darker than they are. Apologies.
  14. PGM ASM 60 Amazing Spiderman 60 This book was sold to me in at a certain grade and I think it's a half grade below. I'm curious what others think. I will reveal what it was sold at after a few guesses. I got a fair price even for the reduced grade so I'm happy either way. The book shows very well in hand. It lays flat and the staples are tight. The pages are white/off white. The main defects are the spine ticks and top edge stress, along with slightly blunted corners. Thanks in advance for taking a look.
  15. That's a great example, thank you. Silver keys also seem to get a sympathetic eye, so maybe I'm off base, wouldn't be the first time
  16. I guess I'm in the minority because I see a 6.0/6.5. That top left corner has too much wear for a 7+, imho. The back looks great though, so it might surprise me.
  17. I agree, that corner drops it to 8.5 at best I think.
  18. 1.8/2.0 for me. Very similar to books on pg 288/296 of the OS Grading Guide. Nice find!
  19. Nice book, 5.0 for me. Corners and spine look 6-ish, but the top edge is a bit too rough to grade higher.
  20. Thanks for looking. Any one else have other opinions?
  21. 9.0-9.2 Looks like very moderate spine stress and the lower corners are slightly blunted. Nice book and nice avatar.
