  1. 7.0 or 7.5 I don't have a great idea how much that scuffing on the right side of the cover would affect the grade.
  2. I'd say 6.5 due to the condition of the spine. Really nice book.
  3. 9.6 It appears to be in the same condition as X-Men 207 on pg 129 of the OS Grading Guide. Great book.
  4. I'm at 4.0 because of the missing piece and what I presume is a tear on the front lower right cover. If thats not tear, and is just a crease, I would say 5.0.
  5. This is the answer I expected, thanks. It's a nice unique second copy for my collection.
  6. I wondered the same thing honestly. The other thread has better pictures. The contrast between the spine and other edges is stark.
  7. X-Factor 6, not in great shape (approx. 5.5-6.0), but a key. I'm curious what people think the premium for this book would be given its rarity/condition/importance.
  8. I'd guess 7.0 to 7.5. I have a hard time predicting how the overall tanning/foxing of white covers will affect the grade. Also, there is a 7.5 copy of FF 66 on page 185 of the Overstreet guide that seems in marginally better condition than this book.
  9. Much better pictures, thanks, can definitely see now that the staples are not rusty. The corners and edges look really, really nice, but the spine has a bit of wear, and the cover is slightly miswrapped. I'm torn between 7.0 and 7.5, but I wouldn't be surprised if others graded it higher, really nice book.
  10. I agree with the 9.2/9.4 evaluations. I noticed something though. Look at the L in the sign below The Punishers elbow. I perceived something like an erased "5" with a circle around it. I pulled out my copy and it had the same thing. It's actually the glove of an M&M guy from the ad on the opposite side of the cover
  11. Definitely appears to be a 9.x, but you are only seeing half the picture. IMHO, If pictures of the back aren't available, you should ask for them. You never know what lurks on the back cover!
  12. It's a little hard to judge because the pictures aren't great, but it looks to be around a 6.0/6.5 to me. The major defects I see are the slightly miswrapped cover, tanning on the edges and back, and rusty staples (though that is hard to determine from these pictures). The corners look really nice, but I'm having a hard time judging the condition of the spine. Really nice book.
  13. PGM Avengers Annual 10 This is from my personal collection, no intentions to submit it. The book lays flat, but there are spine ticks and some bending, most notable on the back cover. The mid grade tends to have opinions vary greatly, so I'm very curious what others think this rates at. Thanks for looking!
  14. 7.5 The soiling/staining on the back is the major defect imho. Nice book.
  15. 7.0-7.5 It might just be the orientation of the image but the top looks inaccurately trimmed. If that's the case, it might be a 6.5.
  16. 3.0 due to the detached centerfold. I was at 4.0 without that. This book compares very favorably to the Captain America 2 on pg 255 of the Overstreet guide (a 3.5), so might even have graded out at 4.5 w/o the detached centerfold. Great book!
  17. Looks like an 8.5 to me but I'm struggling a bit on the back cover due to the scan. Nice book.
  18. I'm at 8.5-9.0 The back cover shows a bit of wear, which drops it a bit for me.
  19. I was at a 4 before seeing the spine splits, so I'd drop it a full grade to 3.0. I agree with the comment of square bound books needing to be held to a different standard. It's a unique bind and should be viewed differently.
  20. I'm leaning 7.5 but maybe 7.0. Nice book.
