  1. I wish there were a blush emoji on here. Thanks for the kind words.
  2. I have all the raw comics collected. I've also got a registry set of graded ones from this collection, some with signatures of the actor/puppeteer/prop builder portrayed. Working on finishing those up. Trying to find 9.8 quality to submit for grading in some of the later run books is tough as many of them suffered from color rub. It's sure been fun to build. I've found quite a few pieces for my collection from other boardies, had others help facilitate celebrity signatures, so I'm more than thankful for the community here.
  3. What an accomplishment! Congratulations. Is this going to be graded or is your collection all raw books? This set has grabbed me from the beginning. Just got my Han Solo Stormtrooper Disguise in the mail from JTC's preorder awhile back. I hope he keeps it up, but I'm glad the pace is slowing down a little.
  4. I love the forethought that went into having Anthony Daniels sign in gold and Kenny Baker sign in silver to match their respective representations on that Droids cover. The other two are amazing as well.
  5. If I remember correctly, this was from @Rich_Henn. Splinter of the Mind's Eye was one of my favorite SW novelizations.
  6. I bought this from @Par2ch. I love the way he matched the blue ink to the color of the carded background. It really pops.
  7. I don't have the Luke Skywalker X-Wing pilot action figure signed by Hamill yet for my collection. That's a beauty. Love the magazines too.
  8. Quotes and character names! Those are special for sure. Awesome share.
  9. I should have been more precise with my wording. I meant live action. Yes, thoroughly grateful to Rebels for making him canon.
  10. Here's a book I couldn't have completed without the help of @radicalmichael, @Rich_Henn and @Triston Pence. I'm a little scared to crack it out again to add Tim Rose and Mike Quinn (puppeteers), but I'll probably do it one of these days. (I just realized the back cover scan is from a second copy, but it looks identical. Don't know where I put the correct scan. You get the idea though.)
  11. I would love to see Thrawn brought to the big or small screen. Here's a book signed by author Timothy Zahn, creator of Grand Admiral Thrawn.
  12. Here's a couple pieces signed by Quentin Pierre. Had to go through a facilitator for these since he was at London Film & Comic Con and I couldn't make the trip. I always loved how cool the Emperor's Royal Guards looked on screen.
  13. Before my lunch break ends, here's one of TIE fighter designer Colin Cantwell (who is sadly only getting deserved credit way too late in illustrious and storied life):
  14. I collect mostly John Tyler Christopher action figure variants and try to get them signed by actors/puppeteers/prop makers when possible. I won't bore you with pictures of my entire collection, but I'll post a couple personal highlights. Here's a Jawa book obtained from a boardie:
  15. You may have hit on it with your last question. Pretty sure it had to do with retailer order numbers. If interest in the series declined between the first issue and this one, they probably ordered less so they'd sell through rather than put them in backstock. Not sure what the ratio was for these versus the regular cover, but that may have something to do with it too. I don't think either was a JTC exclusive. When I was trying to fill my run, I remember finding fewer #5s available for sale when compared with the #1s.
  16. Received 12/03/2019 Grading/Quality Control 01/14/2020 Went to Finalized/Imaged/Shipped on 01/15/2020. All three SS coming back 9.8s, thanks to expert handling by @Par2ch.
  17. Missed a day of checking status, and they're now sitting at GRADING/QUALITY CONTROL.
  18. Hope your recovery is quick and pain can be managed with meds. Once you're healed, you'll probably kick yourself for not doing it sooner. All my best.
  19. Three (3) Modern Signature Series (not Fast Track) RECEIVED 12/3/2019 - still no movement, not even a hyperlinked invoice number. I know the Todd signing has them busy, but I'd like to get the ball rolling on these.
  20. If you put an item on Watch List, the seller has the option to send you an offer for lower than posted Buy It Now (or opening bid if running as a true auction). I use it all the time, but I usually wait a few days before sending an offer. Sometimes I put items on Watch that I own and have no intention of buying, using it more like a price tracker. That said, if the "discount" is 5%-8%, the seller isn't trying very hard. That might cover sales tax.
  21. Sorry to hear about the water damage. Hoping you had collectibles insurance. Welcome to the boards.
