  1. They've updated the Shipped date now to 09/17/2019, but all the grades are there. 6 out of 6 came back 9.8 from the London Film and Comic Con, so big thanks to @Kevlar for another outstanding facilitation.
  2. Don't know if you're a statue collector, but there's one of this cover coming out: https://www.dynamite.com/htmlfiles/viewProduct.html?CAT=DF-Vampirella_Statues Missed the post by @wombat who had you covered with the images, so I apologize for being late to the game here. I almost wish there were two covers, the original and one pulled back slightly to match the statue, which I think is killer.
  3. 6x Signature Series Moderns (with pressing) Received: 08/14/2019 Scheduled for Grading: 09/10/2019 Grading/Quality Control: 09/13/2019 Finalized/Imaged/Shipped: 09/13/2019 (no posted grades yet, though - still sitting at zeros) - this was only about an hour between Grading/QC and Finalized, so I hope that bodes well
  4. 6x Signature Series Moderns (with pressing) Received: 08/14/2019 Scheduled for Grading: 09/10/2019
  5. This is a nice idea. My son works at a group home with an autistic kid who constantly fashions Mjolnir out of whatever happens to be laying about and likes to wear a cape. I think I'll do the same. He's already wrangled a few Star Wars LEGO sets out of me for this young man to build. What's a few comics?
  6. This is one of the greatest time savers. Witnesses keep plenty busy, so to expedite the process for everybody involved, they'll usually have you call when you're ten or so people back from the front of the line, and the witness will make their way to you in time. For some of our more loquacious creators, they may drop that down to three . I won't name names because I'll never turn down all that face time. I do get a little self-conscious about holding up the line from time to time, but then I remind myself I waited forever because they were giving others the same treatment.
  7. I've only had one lobby card signed, and that was at Alamo City. It was a Strange Brew shot featuring both Rick Moranis (signed at the show) and Dave Thomas (haven't caught up to him yet). Moranis LOVED seeing a lobby card. He even had to explain to his assistant what a lobby card even was. He was very cool, very giving of his time (to the point where I felt self-conscious about the people lined up behind me). Unfortunately for me, I didn't get Signature Series CGC on it because the dealer had never dealt with them before and didn't have correct submission forms. No blame. I'm still happy. I have it in a UV protected frame at this time.
  8. Mine did the same thing on a recent submission. I think it was the next day the actual grades appeared. I wouldn't worry for a second, but I understand the anxiety over knowing what grade was assigned.
  9. I can't speak for OP's true intent, but I think (think, mind you) he's asking if there is a way to use CGC's site under "My Submissions" to download a list. Yes, there is a download link on the "My Submissions" section. I've never done it, so I don't know if it's a CSV or what type of file.
  10. You're more patient than I. Hopefully you'll get those back within a couple weeks now that they're SFG.
  11. If I end up winning multiple items from the same seller, I request an invoice with combined shipping, even if their listing doesn't specifically state they will combine shipping. Most will. I've only had one or two refuse out of over a thousand transactions. They just don't get my business again. I leave fair feedback, never anything negative, in these situations.
  12. Finalized/Imaged/Shipped 08/27/2019 (but grades are showing up as .0 for now - hopefully it'll update soon).
  13. Please add the following to the Star Wars Action Figure Variant Covers set: Star Wars #55 - Cert. # 2035590016 Star Wars #58 - Cert. # 2014483024 (This is listed as "Variant Edition" in center of label, with " 'Action Figure' variant cover" in right center; there is already a Star Wars #58 listed in the set, but it's for a different cover that was exclusive to the John Tyler Christopher website and pictured Princess Leia in Yavin Gown; the one I'd like added has Nien Nunb pictured) Star Wars #59 - Cert. # 1961916014 (This also is listed as "Variant Edition" in center of label, with " 'Action Figure' variant cover" in right center.) Star Wars #60 - Cert. #1961916006 (This is similar to 58 and 59 above with "Variant Edition" in center and " 'Action Figure' variant cover" in right center.) Star Wars #61 - Cert. #2019943022 Star Wars #62 - Cert. #1961916010 (This is similar to 58, 59 and 60 above, with "Variant Edition" in center and " 'Action Figure' variant cover" in right center.) Star Wars #63 - Cert. #1961916008 (Similar labeling as 58/59/60 and 62 above) Star Wars #64 - Cert. #1961916005 (Similar labeling as 58/59/60/62 and 63 above) Pictures available on request if there are questions. Thank you!

  15. My nephew has submitted German and Mexican Spawn issues to CGC without problem.
  16. Star Wars 108 came out May 29th. It's a direct continuation of the story from those vintage issues. I don't know whether or not they're continuing the series. I think it may be just a one-off, with multiple covers of course.
  17. Are there any CGC witnesses or facilitators planning on attending this convention? There is a huge contingent of Star Wars actors (among other fandoms) slated for this one. Link to website: https://iccollectorsconvention.com/
  18. Credit card charged (for both submissions) 08/15/2019, so that's a positive sign of movement.
  19. Is there any kind of online resource for finding CGC witnesses or facilitators for small single person signing events at local comic shops? Do any of you certified witnesses here on the boards ever do such events, or are they not worth your time?
  20. No, sir, neither one. For the first batch listed, the actual signing was back in May. It was on the facilitator how long it took to get to CGC's hands, and I won't publicly out them here. For the second batch, I opted to have them pressed also, so that's going to add time. I can be patient. My only anticipation tension comes from what grades I'll actually earn. The Marvel covers I collect have had issues with poor cover stock and color rubs for awhile now, to the point where some 9.8 subscription services won't even let you add them anymore.

  22. Here's a couple from my collection (not sure if Venom counts for the purists):
