  1. lord knows none of my signatures on checks and stuff look exactly the same, (esp on those stupid touch screens), but the way I write it is the same.
  2. The first A in McFarlane bothers me. In the silver, you can see he doesn't lift his pen when making the crossbar on his A's. I'm no handwriting expert though
  3. I've got a heat gun and some extra X-Factor 92s, I'll test and report back.
  4. I say do what you like. Investment-wise some people don't like SS and some do. You cut your market smaller, but others value SS.
  5. I've seen threads where scans are linked to a photo hosting site, that shouldn't be a problem. I've also seen threads with titles and condition listed, with no scans.
  6. I don't factor it in on sales prices. For me it seems a fairly tough sell on the boards usually even at a discounted price, let alone adding in the fee.
  7. It's also the price you have to pay for Neteller, e-wallet, europay, etc. being forced out of the market by the government and competing with paypal.
  8. The 'Seventh Seal' would be broken and unleash the hordes of hell. Don't mess with SS slabs or you could doom us all.
  9. There was a thread on these last fall I think in the modern forum. I went and bought a couple of packs as well. There was also a marvel pack, but those were reprints.
  10. Yeah. Ahsoka Tano from the cartoon is a character that can hold her own. Finn is pointless, practically comic relief, and Poe is like Gold Leader 4 level of interesting. Rey is okay, but not actually compelling.
  11. IMO, the only good star wars stories since the OT were the cartoons. They prove that compelling stories can be told without the orginal cast of characters, but for some reason they are ignored.
  12. Hi all. Got this rough X-Men 12 up for sale. Estimated 2.0. It's got a couple small holes in the interior, looks like it took a blow from something. All pages are here. I bought it out of the back issue bins in the late 80s/early 90's Offers considered. First in the sales thread is the PM negotiations are not valid until the buyer posts an per PM in the sales thread. Payment Paypal Shipping $7.00 shipping CONUS Returns I package pretty well, but if a post office employee drops it off a building, runs over it, then backs over it again, then soaks it in an aquarium filled with piranhas, just pm me and I'll get you sorted out. The Goods X-Men 12, 1st Juggernaut, origin of Professor X - $42
  13. It's not going to be cheaper to buy non-cgc, crack, send to cgc, than just buying cgc in the first place unless it's a big spread
  14. It's all opinion, but I personally never found those guys to have adopted McFarlane's style. Which is perhaps to McFarlane's credit, that he was unique enough that he couldn't really be imitated.
  15. Agree, I meant influence on artistic style, in line with what VintageComics posted
  16. I've always found McFarlane's work doughy and cartoony, so I can't say I saw much of that influence. I didn't collect a wide range of titles though
  17. Saw a meme a little while ago that pretty much summed government up. It was regarding Congressmen, but really applies to all of them. It read, 'It costs $4 million dollars to land a $125K job. Who do you think they work for?' The legislation is never stupid, it's just selectively beneficial.
  18. The question should be, who elected the presidents who appointed them?
  19. I don't know, it doesn't seem that hard to figure out. What would be a key if keys were determined by quality of content?
