  18. Not too new really... but new to this thread and stunning to look at...
  19. I will be listing a bunch of Slabs later today and through the weekend before they go to consignment... maybe a few raw books too from the recent collection purchase.
  20. I was hoping you'd cave in and let him have the book! Way to go Ian... You've obtained at least (2) desired books since the thread restarted. Funny how things twist and turn in this crazy little hobby. Your Mom should have the books (duplicates) I sent by now as well.
  21. Ian, Do you ever see yourself allowing your collection (less some of the modern stuff for space savings) to be displayed in museum fashion at an appropriate venue? Let's say some major city's museum would pay all costs associated with making it happen including security (and insurance on the rare stuff in excess of 10X your estimated value of them to assure no theft)... would you do it? I imagine that it could be a 1-3 month exhibit with people traveling from all ends of the world to see it. Have you ever been approached?
  22. With Lofty Goals... Comes Great Sacrifice I did not realize the risks and sacrifices you made to arrive at where you are Ian. Wow Do you ever see yourself allowing your collection (less some of the modern stuff for space savings) to be displayed in museum fashion at an appropriate venue? Let's say some major city's museum would pay all costs associated with making it happen including security (and insurance on the rare stuff in excess of 10X your estimated value of them to assure no theft)... would you do it? 23. This is a cool thread... very informative, even for a "mainly" Marvel Zombie. Stick around Ian and spread the wealth of information.
  24. For $1, I'll buy 'em for spares. You can even send them to my Mom in Florida to save the postage to England. Just PM me the address and I'll send 'em gratis.
