  1. I feel you. That sentiment works for more than comics. To your point, I think... Kick-, Walking Dead and Outcast qualify. I'm guessing I've missed some others past and present
  2. Hey, I wasn't trying to be amusing. I was being positive/constructive. btw... I like that I can re-size the graemlins!
  3. Good point... you're not Murph from the old boards are you? I'm not on much anymore to know if you changed your handle.
  4. This post was just shown to me on these new boards when looking at my account. It's been almost 15 years since my first post (this one). Looks like the crossover thing ended up happening (Spidey in Captain America) and upcoming too (Hulk in Thor, Spidey in Avengers, etc.)
  5. Nu-Uh, ... I loved me some 9.6's too even though I searched for 9.8s.
  6. I just completed a deal with Brandon (Deadleg) and it couldn't have gone smoother. He was pleasant to communicate/negotiate with and upon agreement of terms issued payment swiftly.
  7. Just completed a transaction with Thomas. He was easy to work with, polite, and paid promptly once the deal was made.
  8. Should've held. My 9.8 only sold for $90 at auction a couple months back after trying to get substantially more on the Clink exchange. It was only one of 2 on the census I believe. Ouch! Should have left it on the exchange. I had a feeling it would be relevant with all the Warlock buzz. dumb*ss
  9. Simply Awesome... :headbang: :headbang:
  10. Wait'll you see what I'm getting tomorrow... If it's a colonoscopy... please, no pics.
  11. Here's what's unsold from my predominantly modern On-Site Philly subs...
  12. Those were the days. Recently, I had to wait it out for months trying to sell a 182 9.8 for just under $2K because the previous few sales were like $1,100-$1,200 or so... while Ms. Marvel #1s in 9.8 were getting way more than that. It was a WTF moment
  13. Actually, the record is way more... $14,250 and $7,700 for a 182. Both were sold in a 2009 ComicLink auction, so not recorded on GPA. I don't have my old sales records handy, but I'm fairly certain another sold around $10K+ on Pedigree a year or 2 later. Back then, there were only a handful of them and they really didn't surface often.
  14. Well, it is our own BronzeBruce (thumbs u ... Thanks David, just sold another privately but still have 2 left. Book is definitely in demand. Hope I can find more. BTW... thanks to all for their contributions in the various "heating up" threads. I read regularly and find the info extremely helpful. AHEM... Ok, ok... thanks Aweandlorder for the link.

  16. My latest moderns, less 3 books I'm resubbing because they deserve to be 9.8s (New Mutants 98 9.6, ToTT 44 9.6 & ASM 238 9.2?) (basically junk compared to the amazing books posted recently)
  17. WOW... some beautiful books! Nice job Andy with all those GS XMs
