Hello everyone--Tim and I have a another great vendor lineup for you at our March show. Looks like there will be about seven new vendors from the last show. The room is positively packed with comic books, the vast majority of which are vintage. Books that sold at the last show included a TOS 39, FF 2, low-four figure golden age, pedigrees, and of course so many $2 to $20 vintage books too. The regular vendors are constantly buying and processing, so it's very fresh every time. Sunday, March 5, 11 am to noon early admission, $15. Regular admission 12-5, $10. Great conversations all day. Next show is March 5 and we should have seven new vendors at that one who didn't do the Jan. 15 show.

Just in time, as we seem to have had record attendance today! Despite everyone being sick of the rain, having more rain, and three NFL games.

Also added Ed Hueck as a first-time vendor. Rain forecast looks to be improving for tomorrow. Showers until light rain right at the end of the show.

Very cool! There's always a reason to come to the Bay Area besides our show. Vendor update: Santa Rosa Comics can't make it but our regular vendor (and board member) JCT Comics will be setting up.

I'd just consider that a courtesy discount, like at shows where good books often get 5-10% knocked off.

And, on his way home after being caught, he stopped at a shop about 30 minutes east of Sacramento and told the owner, "yeah, I was going to go to the Berkeley show today but decided to come buy from you instead." Seriously.

That would be a very cooll subset. I like it!

Very early in the show--I believe he stole from the first two booths up front. And we'd made it 6.5 years with zero reports of even a book missing at our show--so yeah, it's disappointing.

Was very cool having Lee Hester back and having Bud Plant for the first time. Next show is January 15. Tony Fleecs of Stray Dogs will be the guest of honor and Harley Yee will be joining us.

Attendance was very steady both per our usual and our Nov. 2021 show. Lots of new biggish buyers though. People keep finding us.

I just wanted to highlight that, as I agree completely. It makes a huge difference.

The books in the room will be insane. And I'll have a Hulk #1, possibly FF 2. Probably will still have the Batman 5 and 47 and 50.

Tim and I are putting on our traditional first weekend in November show. Been doing these since 2016. More vendors than ever and we've been sold out since mid-August. We have Bud Plant setting up for the first time! Plus Comic Cellar and Go Daddy O coming up from LA, plus the return of A-1 Comics, Heroes, and Champion. www.berkeleycomicshow.com
