Why? Not because they're 'automatically' lower grade from signing(s), but because this mitigates that risk. Better to purchase the service and not need it, than to need it and not buy it.

I would say that it's uncommon for NM grades to receive grader notes, and I think that makes sense. You would have a difficult task telling the difference between a 9.2 and 9.4, 9.4 and 9.6, etc.

For me, this. For the extra $20 and fast track pressing on Sig Series, I've sent many raw in to get 9.8 back, sent slabs in and most have increased, a few stay the same and only one has gone down in grade. More that outweighs the cost/risk in my opinion. 

Not desirable for me. I've had a few come back and two, IH 181 with color touch and GS X-Men 1 with something added to spine. Sent in for restoration removal, press and clean and both came back same grade Blue. 

Too early to make full judgement. Will continue to watch but feel the role could be a number of other actors.

Recommend taking a look on Ebay for last few raw Stan Lee signature books. Downside, it's a pretty commonly forged autograph. This one does look good but without a COA of some kind, there's always a bit of doubt. ASM 365 is a nice book and if in mint condition, that will help.

Hoping Wendigo makes an MCU appearance. Mine just came back from CGC as a 9.2 and was happy with that one. 

Yes, that's the option. Thankfully/luckily only have had one slabbed book go down and knew that was a possibility. Most have bumped up and the rest have stayed the same. I always add the extra $20 for pressing.

I have one delivered a couple of weeks ago but not showing in submissions yet also. The tracking number shows as "Delivered and in a secure, etc. etc." on the CGC site so I'm good. They are acknowledging a delay in opening.

That does answer a few questions. 

Depending on the back, yours has some great color but the spine breaks, corner folds, etc. leans me towards the grade mine came back earlier this year. 5.0.

My McFarlane's are still in the same situation. Marked as received but hasn't hit the tracker yet. Should be soon.
