I'm stuck working from home, so taking my lunch to the park has been a good way to out of the house. New York State opened all of the NYS parks and are not charging fees (usually $8 a car) during this time. The state park near me was full of people and puppies, it actually felt like a normal spring day there were so many people outside.

Handful of solid $1 pickups from this weekend. I only found one long box at the show with any Dark Horse stuff and it paid off decently.

Yep, an entire T2 trilogy. I can reccomend the prequel and sequel novels based on Terminator Salvation: Cold War and Trial by Fire.

Along with star wars avengers and other franchises it seems to be going for wokeness-replacing male heroes with female.  John Connor is no longer the future leader of the resistance, he's in fact nobody.  He's dead.  Instead the resistance leader is a woman.  Now I have no issues with women but you would never see wonder woman replaced by a man.  Just sayin.  Also the terminator after he completes his mission of killing john connor goes and starts a family.  No.  Skynet programs all terminators-after mission ended self destruct or further mission.  Robots are not just cut loose to start a family and a drapery business.  

 

Just watched the movie on Blu-Ray this weekend, while there was a lot to like about the movie, this one is going on the bottom of my list.

I really like the REV9 Terminator abilities, but there was never any explanation of what a REV9 "is".

Very cool find!! Hard to find much info about this book from my limited search, but MCS had the following description:

"Mark Verheiden and Mike Richardson discuss Aliens; Mike Richardson discusses Godzilla. Aliens cover by Mark Nelson."

Good catch on the date, this was before Aliens 1 and DHP 24, could this be the "first cover appearance" or something like that?

Awesome books! Predator Hell & Hot Water looks cool, I don't think I've ever seen one before, nice find.

I think the noob status gets lifted after you've made it through a @DR.X Christmas Contest.

The horror movie books are great, always fun to find these hiding in the discount box. Jason vs. Leather face art by Simon Bisley is killer, can't wait to find the rest of the series.

The Vengeance of Vampirella #25 was the first Vampirella I bought when I was like 10 years old, lost a lot of my stuff in a flooding so when I found this at the LCS I picked it up for nostalgia.

 

That B+W cover is great, definitley more striking than the color version.

Has anyone watched Batman vs. TMNT ? I'm expecting it to be awesome, but haven't had a chance to catch it yet.

Don't know much about it, but you are right, ebay was pretty empty when searching for this book.
