  1. Don't be sad, I'm playing along. After 30+ pages in this thread, i think i get it now and I'm going to stick around for a while.
  2. Just bought a 2-pack of 10' extensions for $10 on Amazon, hopefully those work out.
  3. I've seen some 3rd party controller extensions on Amazon, and might try them out. Sitting on the floor isn't fun anymore.
  4. Fair enough. I just felt your original post with all the "mommy in the next room", "stealing ice cream" stuff was lecturing in and of itself. No hard feelings
  5. Thanks Dr. X, this was a very insightful post, and you bring up a lot of good points about breaking the ice and choosing your battles. "There is no fate but what we make"
  6. That's all good, I've never humped the button, and don't plan on it.
  7. The part I don't agree with is "Don't treat this place like it's your own personal play date", and I think by having a fit in or get out mentality you are treating this place like your own personal play date.
  8. I respect your opinion as a longtime member, but I would like to know where you are coming from with this. I feel like you are putting all the responsibility on the newcomers to fit in or get out.
  9. You can try Comicchron (http://www.comichron.com/index.php) for sales (pre-order) numbers.
  10. I actually read your post on the new Youngblood, but didn't have much to add since I only read the 1st issue. So you aren't completely alone.
  11. It is a cool puzzle. I normally hate doing them because I don't have the patience, but the subject matter makes it easier!
  12. I think somebody mentioned earlier about every question response having a 50/50 shot of being answered, so you are right on track.
  13. Is it just a coincidence that 3/4 of these books are "cat" related? Awesome looking books though.
  14. it's very cool to see what different stores had. My store was probably 40% New 52 books, with only a handful of the showcase books.
  15. Haha it's all good, I literally just closed it like 30 minutes ago, won an auction for the books last night.
  16. Then why didn't you answer my WTB post dude?
  17. Maybe if they had some staff members available in an area of the forum for questions, live chat sessions if you have questions about submitting. Most questions about submitting books end up in the forums eventually.
  18. A lot of times it is just hard to come up with a new topic that people will respond to. I can talk about Terminator comics all day, but I'd be talking to myself.
  19. I enlisted today, 15% off next visit I think. Only picked up a few things this trip, but I think the best find is this hardcover Batman Unwrapped. It is a collection of 7 years of Kubert work on Batman, all re-printed from the original pencil drawings.
  20. Go for it. I wasn't around in the old days, but your critique could offer up some ideas for us newer guys/girls to help liven it up a bit.
