  1. Nope, it was worth a second look, but now I can't finish the story!
  2. Always looking for Aliens when digging through boxes... found a copy of Dark Horse Presents: Aliens (Platinum Edition). This is the first copy I've seen in the wild. (stock photo)
  3. Not sure what happened to this book, pages repeat halfway through.
  4. Interesting... I just saw a handful of the NOW Green Hornet books at the LCS over the weekend, have to pick them up next time. I did find The Twilight Zone 3-D Special (still bagged with glasses) in a dollar bin. Would one of those NOW Terminator #1's be for sale?
  5. First post on this thread. Lots of awesome stuff you guys are showing off here. I've been adding to my Copper collection lately and wanted TMNT to be a part of that, here is my first book haul.
  6. I'm just glad he didn't give up after getting kicked out of the band, went on to make a lot of cool tunes. Megadeth did give us that awesome bass line that MTV used for MTV News Intro.
  7. I really like that leather cover Megadeth book!! Did you have Mustaine sign the book, or was it already there?
  8. Don't have this one yet, I've only got 4 out 17 issues for this series.
  9. Those are awesome! I keep seeing cool books to add to my collection here, but it is still tough to find. I went to a local place this weekend and bought the only Terminator comic they had. @Philflound thanks for mentioning the Malibu series, one book down
  10. I feel like we need a new thread for hip-hop/comic crossover discussion, but i'm sure there would only be a like 3 people interested. So I'll give it a rest for a while if it is taking over. Before i go... If you like kung-fu movies i recommend The Man With The Iron Fists starring/produced by/scored by RZA
  11. What's the original Wu-Tang? I thought the group name was based on the Wudang mountain range, home of Wudang style kung-fu.
  12. Looks like this was a limited "tour variant" cover, was it only available at merch tables?
  13. I forgot to stop by the studio and have RZA sign my book, classic!!! That's pretty cool.
  14. Not asking for what you sold it for, but can I assume it was sold for more than the latest ebay listing?
  15. Good call. I have 3 or 4 other issues from The Pendulum series that i bought poly bagged, but i can only find the CD for #8. Quick search only (1) sealed Pendulum #8 on ebay, for $10. Hopefully we are not considered gang affiliated by the feds for talking about these comics.
  16. I can imagine it was hard to move. The number of people that really like both comics AND hip-hop is probably small, but we are out there!!! I've also heard about the "hip-hop covers" from Marvel. Some of them look pretty neat. Spidey and Deadpool as Eric B. & Rakim
  17. Maybe I wasn't picking up on the tone of this thread, but for the record, yes I would absolutely buy this comic if it was cheap. I actually like checking out these books based on musicians/artists. I have not been able to find much in the wild, but have a few on my want list. I got this ICP comic at the LCS when it came out, and have not seen another since. Also looking for Cryptic Writing of Megadeth (Chaos!) and Nine Rings of Wu-Tang.
  18. No, you must first STOP, then collaborate and listen.
  19. If i saw this sitting in a long box I would buy it for cover price easy
  20. A few more Terminator pick-ups. Does anyone know why some of these issues had the "Approved by CCA" stamp and others didn't? I checked the cover gallery at (www.comics.org) and it looks like only Issues #8-#12 had the CCA stamp, the rest did not. *Edit - Figured out NOW Comics was a late adopter of the CCA and didn't use it until Spring of 1989, which matches up with issue #8.
  21. Don't have that series yet, but will be looking out for it. I wasn't able find a whole lot of information on the series, only found cover artist for issue #2 (Hannibal King)
